We are a hunting, fishing, jet skiing, and boating family we love spending time at the lake house with family and friends.
The Owner purchased this house in 2000
The house is within 3-1/2 hours of Denver. There are activities for everyone to enjoy - from hunting and fishing to antiquing and bird watching.
The house is very comfortable, whether it is just the two of us or the entire family. There are lots of areas, inside and out, for gathering together or spending time alone.
We did have a really nice time at the lake house. The lake house is a nice home. When we did call for something, you responded quickly and we did appreciate that very much, also thank you for getting back to us regarding our deposit. We did make it over to Lake Ogallala and the North Platte River, fishing was good over at the river behind the Diversion Dam. Thanks again.
Thank you Frank and Renee for the chance to experience your lovely home. We came for a girl's vacation away from the husbands and kids and I just have to say, we will definately be back! On a quiet Thursday, we scoped out a lovely private beach which we found only a 5 minute drive from the house! We also visited all the historical sites around the area. Amazing country! The location of the house is fabulous. Best of all, it just felt like home and we looked forward to coming back to the house every evening. !
What a great time had by my kids and extended family! We had nine adults and we were all comfortable. Very nice furnishings with plenty of space. We had badminton and corn hole set up in the back yard. The local boat ramp was a short drive away. The house has a double deep garage so we were able to leave the boat attached and backed in which was very convenient. Renee was very helpful with the few items we needed to make a perfect trip.
The house was really nice and had everything we needed. The big back yard that walked out to the lake was the best...except for the mosquitoes, but obviously you are going to have those anywhere in NE. Renee was extremely helpful and very patient with us and all of our questions. My only complaint is the mattresses on the pull out sofas are not comfortable at all. The 3 stall garage was really nice, even though the one time we had shelter for our cars it didn't storm. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed the house, great that it was dog friendly. They loved the beach on the lake, it was our first trip to Lake Mac and we will return, very relaxing. My only suggestion would be some nice memory foam toppers for the sofa beds would make a huge difference.
Wonderful and reserved part of the lake. Home is very spacious and we'll kept
We completely enjoyed our stay here. The house was everything and more than I expected. The huge combination of living room, dining room, and kitchen has ample area to visit. There was a group of 10 of us. The open area downstairs was also wonderful. The luxury of the washer and dryer and a refrigerator on both floors was an added bonus. Even the neighbors on both sides were wonderfully welcoming.
