Our beautiful log home sits on 4 wooded acres. We are close enough to Boyne Highlands Resort to cross country ski, snowshoe or bike there. There is an expansive view of Nubs Nob Ski Resort and a nighttime view of the 'Lights of Nubs'. Fireworks of Boyne are visible from our fire-pit. New Years Eve is the best time to light a bonfire, serve some hot drinks, let the kids sled, roast marshmallows and watch the fireworks! Beach toys and floaties available for use. We suggest visiting the Petoskey State Park or Sturgeon Bay for beach going. Downtown Petoskey, Harbor Springs or Bay Harbor all boast first class shopping. Boyne Highlands offers skiing, tubing, golfing, zipline adventures, horseback riding, dog sledding, several restaurants and bars. The Outfitter in Harbor Springs rents both summer and winter recreational gear. Prearranged only, daily housekeeping and private cook/shopper/dishwasher available for additional hourly charge.

Winter renter

Our family spent a holiday weekend at this property and could not have been more pleased with all it had to offer. There was plenty of room to comfortably accommodate our party of fourteen (6 big bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths) who ranged in age from 0 to 80. The beautifully designed home is located close to the ski hills where our group took advantage of downhill skiing, snow boarding, cross country skiing, and tubing activities. We are hoping to be able to return again some day, maybe during the summer months when we can also gather around the inviting outdoor fire pit area. We were all sad to leave.

Cozy Elegance!

  • 5 of 5

We had 4 adults, 3 children and rented this beautiful home for a long weekend at Boyne Highlands. We could NOT have been more pleased! The accommodations were inviting, well kept and Class A! The Owner had everything from the kitchen stocked to the kids toys in the basement. Was the perfect getaway for a long ski weekend and looks equally as appealing for the summer months. Would absolutely like to stay here again!

Outstanding rental property

  • 5 of 5

We have rented vacation homes from Alaska to Grand Cayman and this was by far the best equipped and clean property. We had a total of 15 with us. The teens and young adult had a great time while inside the home and of course down at HobsKnob. The snow came at a perfect time to ski and snowboard. The location was perfect to enjoy zip lining at Boyne highland and County wide snowmobiles. We never ate out, cooked all our meals at the house. Market nearby made it easy for us to feed the clan. The log home is beautiful and allowed everyone enough personal space. The Christmas tree was a nice touch for all to enjoy. The home is complete with many games and activities to do in out of the cold. The fire pit is a plus. We made great family memories that will last a lifetime. Would rent this home in a heartbeat.

Great Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home, excellent accommodations, well stocked kitchen, cozy atmosphere and plenty of space! Our extended family takes a vacation together every year and this is by far the best home we have rented. Sharon was more than helpful and responsive to our needs. The surrounding area is beautiful with just enough shopping, restaurants and activities without the huge crowds of some of the other areas we visited during the week. We could have stayed longer to enjoy more of what the area had to offer and dine at more of the restaurants. I would rent this home again.

What a beautiful home in serene setting! The craftsmanship of the home, as well as the surroundings are exactly what comes to mind when planning a northern Michigan getaway. The home has so much space but feels so cozy at the same time. The character of the decor is a perfect combination of old and new. The location is perfect as well, short trip to everything including town, beach, and skiing. The owners are very friendly, inviting, and accommodating. They are also available 24/7 if needed. We did not need them of course but it's nice to know they are available. The cabin is fully stocked. We would love to schedule another dream vacation in the north at this lovely cabin!
