About the property

Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

This is a chance for a unique Pacific Northwest experience. The property is a rare opportunity to experience living on the Puget Sound....It is truly one of a kind. Professionally decorated beach house sits out over the Puget Sound. Wake up with the sun light filtering through the many windows. Walk out on a private deck over looking the expansive view with a hot cup of coffee. Just a few steps down to a very private beach. Search for crabs, go clamming, look for oysters, or build a rock collection. At night snuggle up on the deck, and listen to the tide come in or relax by the indoor electric fireplace in the bedroom on those chilly NW nights. Beach house has expansive windows for sweeping views, fully stocked kitchen and linens, washer and dryer, 52in t.v., and WIFI if you really need to be connected but we have a feeling you won't.

Minutes away from the Bremerton downtown area with fountain park, naval museum, and eateries. Catch a ferry to downtown Seattle for a day trip to the markets, museums, theater, and so much more.

Close by is plenty to do from golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bowling, breweries, camping....most of all RELAXING.

About The Owner

We are a family of 4 who work hard and are dedicated to loving our boys. Our home is something that we take exceptional care of and if we are not working to make it just right for our visitors, we are working on our main residence to make it just right for us. We love to be on the water, travel, and be together.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2001

Why The Owner chose Puget Sound

The Kitsap area is a beautiful region that is close to so much but still remote enough to feel that peace and relaxation we forget to take time for. This home is truly unique, one of a kind, and an amazing NW experience.

What makes this cottage unique

Quiet relaxation in a beach atmosphere. This homes sits steps away from the water. It is truly a rare home that even people in the NW have never experienced. We love 'End of the Point' and are excited to share it with you.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We don't want to leave. This cottage is charming and peaceful. We all loved it most especially your responsiveness and the scenery. We couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation. We will be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A small place with the best views!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have absolutely enjoyed staying at this property! The pictures posted on here don't do justice to what this place has to offer, in my opinion. The views were absolutely fantastic and this is the absolute closest one can get to the water but enjoy it from indoors on a rainy Pacific NW day! The house is small-ish but it comfortably accommodated 3 adults (We ended up not using one of the bedrooms) and a 16-month old (parents with toddlers, beware! The windows on this property do not have blinds and open wide to either the shore/water below) and I was impressed at the way the owners made sure that everything, from extra towels in the bathroom to extra space heaters were all available inside the property. It had pretty much everything we needed for our short stay. The owner, Mike, was very approachable and was just a phone call away! He was available to answer any questions I had. I appreciate that! All in all, it was a great stay and I would stay here again. If I were to be picky, I have 1 minor thing to mention - the bathroom door didn't lock, so it was slightly inconvenient. The views and the rest of the property overpowered this minor detail but it would be nice to have it fixed. Overall, I definitely recommend this stay! Oh and yes, it was so much fun to watch the high tide come in!

Great little quiet place with view to die for

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed out stay at End of the Point Cottage. It's very private and quiet. The view can't be beat. There is a very nice outdoor area as well. The cottage is a bit drafty but it wasn't a big deal as the heat works very well. There is also an electric fireplace in the main bedroom and a space heater in one of the other bedrooms. We'll definitly be back in the summer. This would be the perfect summer escape.

There are a few minor maintenance issues. The toilet doesn't flush well and the faucet in the bathroom is loose. Also, It would really be nice if all the windows facing the water had blinds or something. It's impossble to see the tv during the day and it would give some privacy from anyone on the water. This are very minor things. We'll definitely be back.

Oh, last thing. There are two parking spots for the address in the turn-a-round at the end of the road. Someone was parked in the other one though, which was fine for us since we only had one car, but check with the owner if you have more than one car and check to see if both spots are supposed to be available or what.

Dollhouse cottage with a view

  • 5 of 5

What a cute little house right on the water! You can't get any closer than the water lapping right up to the foundation of the house. Spectacular view! Each morning we were greeted with watching the tide roll in and the ducks diving into the water to gather their breakfast as we prepared ours in the cute little kitchen that contained everything we needed, even a waffle maker! Did I mention the fireplace in the bedroom? Can't wait to come back in the warmer months to lounge outside in the private patio overlooking the bay. So much fun!!

What a beautiful location, cute cottage, and great location!!!

  • 5 of 5

Mike and Rachel,

Thank you so much!!!! We absolutely loved your place!!!!

It's such a perfect cozy space and we had such a nice time!!! Thank you for being dog friendly too!!!

I'm sorry for my delay in letting you know, there was a small blue plastic bowl at the cottage we were using to hold ice. The ice had frozen together and I taped the bowl on the counter causing the bowl to chip on the bottom. I had to throw the bowl away. I'm very sorry about this.

Nothing else to report. Had such a great time and thanks again!

Thank You,

Melissa

A small, peaceful cottage with a beautiful view.

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I really enjoyed our short stay in this small, adorable cottage. The view of the bay was very nice and the tide would come in during the morning so the water would rise right up just below the windows and we could watch jellyfish drift by! We also saw lots of birds and an otter on occasion. The house was fully equipped and clean. Our only complaint was that it was very cold in the living room (we visited in December) even with the heater going, so definitely bring slippers and layers if visiting in a cold month. But there is a space heater and the master bedroom is toasty with an electric fireplace, and there's plenty of blankets. Overall it was great! We would stay there again.
