Overview

Bremerton Cottage Rental Photos and Description

Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

This is a chance for a unique Pacific Northwest experience. The property is a rare opportunity to experience living on the Puget Sound....It is truly one of a kind. Professionally decorated beach house sits out over the Puget Sound. Wake up with the sun light filtering through the many windows. Walk out on a private deck over looking the expansive view with a hot cup of coffee. Just a few steps down to a very private beach. Search for crabs, go clamming, dig for oysters, or build a rock collection. At night snuggle up on the deck, and listen to the tide come in or relax by the indoor fireplace in the bedroom on those chilly NW nights. Beach house has expansive windows for sweeping views, fully stocked kitchen and linens, washer and dryer, 52in t.v., and WIFI if you really need to be connected but we have a feeling you won't.

Minutes away from the Bremerton downtown area with fountain park, naval museum, and eateries. Catch a ferry to downtown Seattle for a day trip to the markets, museums, theater, and so much more.

Close by is plenty to do from golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bowling, breweries, camping....most of all RELAXING.

About The Owner

We are a family of 4 who work hard and are dedicated to loving our boys. Our home is something that we take exceptional care of and if we are not working to make it just right for our visitors, we are working on our main residence to make it just right for us. We love to be on the water, travel, and be together.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2001

Why The Owner chose Puget Sound

The Kitsap area is a beautiful region that is close to so much but still remote enough to feel that peace and relaxation we forget to take time for. This home is truly unique, one of a kind, and an amazing NW experience.

What makes this cottage unique

Quiet relaxation in a beach atmosphere. This homes sits steps away from the water. It is truly a rare home that even people in the NW have never experienced. We love 'End of the Point' and are excited to share it with you.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We don't want to leave. This cottage is charming and peaceful. We all loved it most especially your responsiveness and the scenery. We couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation. We will be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Cute and Calm

  • 5 of 5

It was a perfect stay for my husband, dog, and I. Great views, super private, and perfectly decorated. We will definitely stay again. Our only negative was the 10AM check out time. Would have been ok if check in times were earlier, but just made the stay feel shorter.

Fantastic place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautiful, the beach is amazing. This property is unique in that the tide comes in up to the house. We were able to sit on the deck and relax and watch the tide go in and out. One morning there was an otter family having breakfast right at the edge of the water where we could see them from the deck. The house itself is really interesting, and inviting. We loved our time here and wish we would have planned to stay longer. We will absolutely be back to rent this house again the next time we are in the area. Everything that was listed about the house is true, and it's clean and has everything anyone could possibly need to stay there. There is a great Italian restaurant close by that has really good Pizza. You can walk down on the beach and watch the tiny crabs and fish in the water. Amazing two days we had here.

Unique & Beautiful Setting with Charming Accomodations

  • 5 of 5

What a great spot! We had been looking for an option to fill 2 days during our travels and I happened on this listing just a short time prior to our visit. I've never been more "On the water" than End Of The Point. The 3 separate sleeping areas give plenty of space for 4 people to stay. We really didn't use the services besides the sink, fridge and coffee pot as we were visiting family and touring around the peninsula for some sightseeing. The tide transitions here are spectacular and we were able to see some marine life and a float plane taking off. If there was any downside noted it was low ceilings and step up & down living areas. I'm a little over 6 feet tall, with the age and build of the structure some of the lower door ways had to be watched to avoid hitting my head. There are also flooring transitions in the form of step ups and step downs as well as a narrow stone stair way leading down to the unit from the pathway above so if you are really tall or mobility challenged this is probably not your best pick. Otherwise I say, don't miss it, I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again! Thanks for a great visit!

Adorable boat house right on the water!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed for two nights. It is a lovely little boat house with TONS of character. My fiancé and I stayed with another friend. It would be the perfect house for a family with two kids. Also, very easy check-out!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Overall it was a perfect place for me and my grand-boys ... we all had a great time! There were a couple issues but didn't stop us from enjoying our time.

We arrived 30 mins early (3:30) ... fortunately we had access ... we had stopped by Safeway before arriving and had ice cream! We walked in and realized the cottage had not been cleaned. Beds unmade, trash bag still in can, dirty towels, coffee in pot, etc. contacted Mike immediately ... he was very apologetic and contacted the cleaning people immediately. The cleaning gal showed up and started cleaning within a short time. Mike offered us dinner on him but we had just driven 5 hours and didn't want back in the truck for a while ... so we waited outside. I had some computer work to do but WiFi wouldn't connect. So we waited and the boys played in the water. A couple hours later we were finally in and settled.

Mike came by on Wednesday to fix the WiFi ... I wasn't sure if it was my laptop/phone or not, so I just used my phone as a hot spot while WiFi was on the fritz.

Would we return ... you betcha!! Thank you.
