Why Chris Short, Prior Lake, MN chose Prior Lake
I love the small-town feel of Prior Lake. Our family enjoys being on the water and wanted a place where we share our home with family and friends.
What makes this House unique
My daughters love to feed the ducks and fish right off our dock. Every year, we enjoy watching the baby ducklings grow all summer long. The fishing is also pretty good off the dock!

Great stay with the family
We all had such a great time at this property on Prior Lake, 9 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was easy to work in to prepare our meals. We rented a boat from Prior Lake Pontoon Rental and they were great and we enjoyed this very much. We swam on a public beach and off the pier. Only complaint was that one bathroom was not cleaned and we had to do that upon arrival.
Lovely lake view and spectacular sunsets
Our family of eight, including two children under the age of 4 stayed at this property in mid-July. The home offered a number of options for sleeping arrangements for our three households, including child and youth-sized beds. We were grateful to have three bathrooms. There is a lovely view of the lake from the back deck and patio, including spectacular sunsets.
There are a few things that could use some attention. Two of the dining room chairs need to be repaired or replaced (unattached seat cushion and broken leg brace). The shower door on the tub in the main floor bath was missing, although there was a shower curtain in place. The afternoon sun could be unrelenting in the upstairs living room so blinds or shades would be welcome. The outside landscaping could be really lovely if the volunteer trees and other overgrowth were cleaned out.
It might be worthwhile for the owner to review the property details on the VRBO listing and also on the property information provided to those who have reserved the property to make sure that the information is current.
Overall, this is a great home for large family groups, the house was very clean and neat, and it’s location in a quiet neighborhood is definitely a plus.
Spacious, clean, and the best sunset view.
Our stay was perfect! Such a nice place!!
You guys are great. Please stay again! C
Family Gathering Fun*
This house was bright and roomy for our family of eleven including three grandchildren under 4. The kitchen is easy to work in and had most things that we needed to make meals. The deck off of the dining room was in constant use and the big oak trees were so beautiful. The property is close to shopping, the lake was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet The house is showing signs of aging and there should be a little more time spent on detailed cleaning but we would definitely stay here again.
Great, big house and a gorgeous setting on Prior Lake. It was perfect for a group of friends rendezvous at the NCAA Final Four.
Thanks again gentleman. I hope you have a future outing in the area!
