NanTexas, a Nantucket style vacation rental home, is reminiscent of island living and old world charm. Upstairs, this family friendly, kid friendly home has a large living area that is open to the kitchen and dining. The kitchen is a modern kitchen with granite tile, butcher block countertops, and stainless appliances. It is fully furnished and has a large pantry for storage. There is also a separate area with a family gaming table for after beach enjoyment. The first floor has 3 bedrooms with king, queen, and full beds. 2 sleeper sofas permits large multi-family parties to enjoy Port A.

Downstairs is another en suite bath and bedroom with large sitting area and two double-single bunk beds, sleeping 6. This kid friendly rental lets the kids stay and play downstairs or provides lots of room for multiple families.

Outside there is a large beautiful, private pool with a shallow tanning pool at the end. There is a large deck, a picnic table, lots of chairs, a grill, an outdoor shower, and plenty of spots to hang your beach gear. The fenced yard is large enough for games.

We both have been blessed with long careers in healthcare. That has taught us the value of life, respecting the dignity of others, as well as experiencing the satisfaction of serving others. We also have been fortunate to raise four wonderful daughters and enjoy five beautiful grand daughters. We love spending time with our family as often as possible, especially outdoor activities like swimming, camping, and hiking. Beach time most of all!

Cleanest Home, Prime Location, Spacious Rooms...Just arrive and relax.

First of all I'll start off by stating that the pictures do the property NO justice. The property and home are beautiful. Arrived to a clean property and home. Settled in and cooled off in a clean pool. Not a deep or shallow pool however; perfect for children. Home is in a prime location. The best part is, the owners are wonderful to work with. Hope to make this a yearly rental. This is a property where one has to do very little to have a great time. I would recommend the property to anyone.

Excellent - As portrayed in previous reviews, This home is awesome!

Best Family Vacation!!!

Our grown kids had a few reservations about what Dad had brewing originally. We were delayed getting away from our home so one of our daughters and her family were going to arrive first. She really didn't want that responsibility but once I texted the arrival procedure and access she agreed. Within fifteen minutes of their arrival she was group texting her sisters and Mom "Dad did great, this place is awesome". It only got better from there. The home is well equipped with a spacious kitchen and pantry. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for our crew of my wife and I (main level king bed with morning coffee balcony), Daughter3 and husband with eleven month infant (main level queen bed with chair for middle of night feedings), Daughter1 and husband (main level full bed), and Daughter2 and husband with the three 11-13 yrs. grandkids/cousins (ground level two bunks each with a full lower & twin upper. We did not choose to utilize the two sleeper sofas on the main level. The large living, dining, bar, kitchen area suited us well to sit, visit, dine, plan, and just relax without being crowded. The main level landing, deck, balcony is perfect for smaller group sittings and plenty of area for wet clothing, footwear and towels to hang for air outs. The lower level also provided a getaway for the older kids to just kickback with their phones and games when time permitted. One full bath with tub/shower combo main level and one full bath with shower downstairs requires a little organization with six females but that just gave them a chance to reminisce and relay to grandkids about how hard they had it in their high school days back at home. The backyard is a oasis resort within it's self. This is where the majority of time was spent. The pool is perfect sized so kids can play and adults can relax. There are plenty of chairs including the picnic table for seating. We didn't utilize the bar-b-que on this trip but it looked to be ready if needed. The location of this property worked well for us, within walking distance to just about anything you would like to do except the beach. We did have a six passenger golf cart rented for excursions around town. The parking is sufficient for three full sized SUVs with plenty of overflow parking three houses down at the municipal building parking.


Keep lower level door closed -A/C escapes fast.

Trash pickup is on Tuesdays-Move cans to road fence line if already full to prevent odors @ stairs

Hands down the best place for the money.

This home is like having the best of both worlds... Native Texan relocated to Indiana as a child I have visited Port A since 1970 and stayed in numerous rental homes and condos. This home has that upscale flair with the island feeling that you are looking for. The kitchen is amazing , well stocked with nice cookware . Enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck or off the master in the morning. The private fenced backyard is great for relaxing , sunning or entertaining. We just can't say enough of all the charm this home has. And if you have children the lower level can act as a mini apartment so you can have privacy any time. Your close to everything, dolphin walks on the Jetty wall at night, a bike ride to Charlie's pasture, minutes from the restaurants and beach. Daniel and Tina are great to rent from very professional and timely with any questions we had. I highly recommend checking this place out! Thank you Daniel and Tina for making our winter stay so wonderful!

We have rented from Property managing companies on the island before and left hanging with repairs, people walking in on you and leaving very unhappy. You won't experience this at this peace of heaven Nantucket Island home!

Great vacation home!!

if you are looking for a family getaway, a couples retreat, or guys and gals getaway this is the place to stay! Very clean and spacious! The pool and backyard is very well kept and a great place to relax at the pool and play games like washers. Beach is not far and everything in port a you would need is pretty much walking distance. Daniel the owner is easy and prompt on everything. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Relaxation haven

Our stay was fantastic! We had 14 adults stay comfortably. The pool was fabulous! Daniel was very communicative thru the entire process. We had a lovely time!!

My family, friends, and I absolutely loved staying at his house. Pictures don't give the house justice, especially on size. We were pleased to have comfortable entertained 12 adults for Memorial Day weekend here. The backyard and private pool were great! I would highly recommend this house to any person with a larger group to book this house! Close proximity to restaurants, grocery store, and the beach is a short drive. Plus the owner Daniel is super friendly and helpful! Hope anyone who reserves this house will have a wonderful stay like we did! :)
