Can't wait to return in 2018

  • 5 of 5

Our Family had the best time at this cabin. Plenty of room for our large group. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. The lake is just right down a short path. We had the whole beach to ourselves. We loved it so much that we are renting this cabin every summer for our Family get together. The owners were great to work with and I can't wait to return to the Caprino Cabin in 2018.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

It's a Winner!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this cabin for our family reunion. It was incredible! The kitchen, laundry room, and linen closet were well-stocked with extra crock pots, kitchen utensils, spices, dry goods, laundry detergent, paper goods, medical supplies, towels and bed linens. The spacious family room, upstairs loft, game room, wrap around porch and outdoor fire pit were ideal for our group of 15 people. We especially loved our private access to the water front where the kids went wading and we swapped out jet ski riders. The cabin has a pack and play, high chair, baby gate, and movable play yard for littles, as well as lots of toys both indoor and outdoor. There's even a swing under the balcony. The owner helpfully answered all of our questions and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend this cabin!

Mixed review

  • 4 of 5

The positive. The cabin, yard and view are beautiful. The cabin comfortably slept our large group. Even though the owner "Bud" is in California, he is easy to work with and prompt to reply.

The negative. Bud needs to FIRE his housekeeper. We put down a $300 cleaning deposit and showed up to a "tidy" but overall dirty cabin. The cabin looked as if it hadn't been dusted in ages. The floors needed swept and mopped. The couches and large area rug were COVERED in dog hair. All table surfaces were grimy. We cleaned the cabin and left it 1,000 cleaner then what we found it, not sure yet whether or not I'll get my deposit refunded. The basement was freezing (you are not allowed to use the heater, nor any space heater), the basement is where the games are located so the kids had to wait until it warmed up to play down there. Game tables are old and parts are being held together with duct tape, but still functional.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and made wonderful memories. I would rent this cabin again, but hope Bud does something about the housekeeping.

Beautiful property! Spacious and accommodating.

We hosted a women's retreat with 11 women, they were all impressed with the property and gorgeous view! It was wonderful how close the property is to Breitenbush.

Amazing Lakefront Log Cabin Lodge for a Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here when we came to Oregon for my brother's wedding and had a fabulous time.

The lodge is perfect for big family get togethers and just enjoying the view of the lake, forest, and mountains and spending quality family time together. We loved seeing the lake views and stars on the wraparound porch and exploring the area on foot. The scenery is incredible, and the lodge is comfortable and cozy.

I can't think of a better place to enjoy the Oregon scenery and a fun family vacation at the same time.

Awesome getaway for the whole family!

  • 5 of 5

This was a spontaneous getaway for our family and it exceeded our expectations.

It was very comfy and cozy and it took us away from the realities of everyday life. There was so much to do outdoors; our favorites were going fishing, making s'mores and cooking on the grill. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils needed. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and they also provided extra bed sheets, blankets and pillows. We took our own collection of DVDs but they also had some options as well. They also had an awesome variety of toys for the kids to play with.

I liked the fact that there was no internet because we all had a chance to bond and spend quality time together.

Last but not least, the owner of the home was a pleasure to work with and always responded in a timely manner.

Overall, this has been our best getaway to date and we plan on returning to this cabin in the near future!
