Anniversary Trip to Paris
i can't begin to say enough good things about this property and the way Albert and staff made us feel welcomed. The unit is older but has been updated and well cared for along the way. The mini kitchen is completely stocked with whatever you may need to cook a quick breakfast or bring something back in the evening from a local eatery or one of the several supermarkets located right around the corner . Refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave all worked great The location of this studio flat is perfect-we loved the bustling neighborhoods of the Latin quarter. Located just off a pedestrian alley it was very quiet and extremely safe. Lots of quaint restaurant options in the neighborhood or across St. Michel or down St. Germain. We walked to Champs/Arc, multiple museums, gardens, Notre Dame and so many other points of interest without having to grab an Uber. The unit has brand new windows which completely blocks any outside noise late at night. This property offered reliable wifi and cable if you needed it. The bathroom had ample linens, strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. The unit also had several areas to store your clothes and luggage. Looking to really immerse yourself in all things Paris-this studio flat is perfect for that .
We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends! Thanks again Albert!
I am very happy that you were able to fully enjoy your stay in Paris from the studio on this special occasion.
Thank you very much for writing such an exhaustive and complementary review of the Parcheminerie which renovation yet to come will improve further your experience next time around.
You'll always be very welcome.
We had a beautiful time staying at the flat. Ideal location, great shops steps away. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room to put clothes.
Great apartment and location. Clean and nice amenities. Central to all attractions. Just a few blocks from the river and Notre Dame. Would definitely use again. Owner is very responsive and helpful.
We enjoyed a fabulous 1 week stay. The accommodation was very clean, and well laid out. The bed is comfortable. The bathtub is roomy. The sunlight and artificial light at night is welcomed.
Great location and value in the latin quarter
The location is on an extremely small street closed to traffic. We picked it for the price, location and roominess. Not many places were available when I looked that were this big and had a queen bed (I am not used to double and was sleeping with a friend) as well as an optional pull out that made an extra single mattress on the floor in case sleeping together didn't work well. The windows were nice. Very small kitchen tucked in the cupboard but we didn't need much. Lots of storage which I really liked. There were 2 sinks in the bathroom and 2 desks/tables for computers etc, so that was great. People were nice to deal with although expect you may have to wait for a bit to meet them at the door of the apt but we didn't have to wait too long. During the day there was always a scuzzy drunk sitting in the next neighbouring step, however we didn't have any incident and they weren't there at night when we returned. Doors lock securely anyway. This is close to the seine and a bike rental station (Velib) and numerous tourist restaurants, but also close to better French restaurants, including in St Germain. A bit of restaurant noise was audible as they cleaned up to close at the end of the night but nothing too serious as we went to bed late anyway. Free calls to north America and within France. We would go back! My friend forgot her hat there and the cleaning lady very kindly made arrangements so we could pick it up from her. Thanks Albert.
Very centrally located. Extremely well equipped. Excellent service .
My son and I independently looked at all the choices , and we both picked this one. It was an excellent choice, and I will certainly recommend it to any of our friends, who have plans for visiting Paris. The owner had a list with instructions - as well as very helpful hints re anything one might need - especially for people staying a week or more.````J. Nielsen
Ideally located in a period building at the crossing of the boulevard Saint-Germain and Saint-Michel, next to the river, Ile de la Cité and Notre-Dame de Paris. You are at the core of the vibrant, cultural and creative center of the French capital. Shopping antiques in the flea market, visiting the Louvres, Beaubourg or Orsay museums are only a very scenic walk away. On the major train lines linking both Paris airports with immediate access to the Paris Underground network.
