This cottage is a slice of paradise.

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by rolling hills, gardens with fruit trees, native plants and birds. Get up early to watch the sunrise over the distant ocean, relax on the deck, in the hammock, or in the spa pool with a glass of wine at sunset. You might think you were the only people for miles. Sheryl and Paul were perfect hosts and the cottage is impressively well set up. What a lovely spot. We are looking forward to coming back.

This is a delightful little cottage - private and peaceful.

This is a delightful little cottage - private and peaceful. Just a few minutes drive to Bayview for icecream by the beach, and then back to this little haven with a wonderfully cool sea-breeze coming up the valley. I appreciated the ethical choices in products (for example freedom farm bacon)... delicious breakfast with fresh eggs. We also don't drink alcohol and the hosts kindly provided us with an alternative complimentary bottle of bubbly. Am already recommending this place... thank you

The property was everything we wanted and more.

The property was everything we wanted and more. It literally had everything you could think of for the perfect relaxation getaway. Views were amazing and the owner left us some local food and wine which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

The internet only gives you pictures and they are lovely! However, not until you are there will you feel the absolute calm come over you. The views are amazing and you are immediately at peace. Everything is provided for you and you want for nothing. Very clean well appointed. Thank you Sheryl! We will be back !

What you see on the internet is only half of the good feeling surprise.

  • 5 of 5

What you see on the internet is only half of the good feeling surprise. Inside and out of the cottage is a home away from home and the views, you have to come and aee to understand the feeling we both got. Great location only a short drive to either Napier or Hastings.
