A late October visit coincided with amazing weather, meaning the we could watch the sun rise behind Mt Rainier on all but two days of our stay. Bigger than life, clear, technicolor, life changing sunrises! From our perch on top of the bulkhead, the resident harbor seal would swim within spitting distance when the tide was high, and from our bed we could listen to the waves caressing the beach. VERY friendly cat as the neighbor who will readily make itself at home if you let it in. It is very much worthwhile mentioning the there is an escalator to get up and down the hill, which proved to be extremely handy for my elderly mother and disabled niece to visit. Highly recommended - would go back there again.
Where to start? The house was charming. So quiet and peaceful. Amazingly well furnished and a kitchen with anything you could possibly think of for cooking. The view of the Sound and Mt. Rainer is breathtaking. We met Beth Ann who is a character, and Hollee who is so warm and welcoming. All in all it definitely rates as one of our best vacations.
We really enjoyed staying here! The house was well stocked with all of the things you'd want to be comfortable hanging out at home. We had family nearby and they loved coming over to sit on the deck right on the water. Kayaking was fantastic here in Budd Inlet and we enjoyed walking the beach during low tide every day. The kitchen is the best we have encountered in a vacation rental... the appliances and cookware provided are top notch and plenty of them. Despite its compact size, we fixed many meals including breakfast for up to a dozen family members each day, comfortably.
There is a tram that runs from the upper to lower level and this was handy for those who couldn't navigate the stairs easily. The bed is comfy and the entire place clean, cozy and inviting. We would come back in a heartbeat!
Intimate, cozy and beautiful
This beautiful little place sits right on the water. You can hear the waves lapping and when the tide is high, look down over the balcony right into the water. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking! The bathtub in the master bedroom is fantastic! I enjoyed every minute.
We had a wonderful experience. They took very good care of us.
Can't beat the location.
The property was better equipped than our house!
you should really cook here !
Kitchen has an upscale stove convection oven that really cranks the BTU's ! AllClad non stick pans. Heinkel knives nice and sharp. Heavy feeling flatware. Bone china plates. Oils vinegare spices galore. There was even some butter and ice cream!
And when we could not find the oyster knife, I just texted Beth Ann and there ir was the next day!
Hate to leave. Oh...bed very comfortable. Place clean like it was vrand new. Oh...Weber SS grill natural gas. Oh...whoops...running out of room.
