Located in the very heart of South Kensington, this stunning two bedroom duplex apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and provides contemporary and neutrally decorated accommodation with en suite facilities. The building is located on a beautiful residential street boasting period stucco-fronted buildings and is surrounded by wonderful boutiques, cafes, bakeries, bars and restaurants on Gloucester Road, Old Brompton Road and on all other streets in South Kensington.
The South Kensington subway station is located just a block away and taxis are readily available all around.
The Natural History museum and the Royal Albert Hall, just to name a few are located just a couple of blocks away. From this location, you can walk to Harrods in Kightsbridge or to Chelsea in just 10 minutes.
This beautiful apartment boasts two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a powder room. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests. Two guests in each bedroom and two on an inflatable mattress. The apartment comes fully equipped with a washer and a dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and all other necessary appliances necessary….
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful flat. The location is unbeatable and you can walk to museums, Harrods, Hyde Park… It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, cafes yet we were amazed at how quiet it was. The tube station is just a short walk away and has 3 major lines which took us pretty much everywhere we wanted to go directly. The flat is amazing! It felt like it was just refurbished! It was perfectly clean with all the fittings of a 5 star hotel. It was spacious, tidy, immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated. The hosts were very kind and accommodated our request for an early check in because we were coming from the US with an early morning flight. We loved South Kensington and it is now our favourite part of London. We will surely book this place again on our next trip and we highly recommend it!
Beautiful, quiet street in lovely neighborhood. The apartment was perfect for our stay with our 2 college-age sons. They traded off the bedroom and pullout sofa which they said was very comfortable. Bed in "master" was also very good. Having 2 full and one half baths was handy as well. Plenty of light even though there are just 2 windows on each floor that face the building next door (no street view). Nicely decorated, good linens, towel warmers, heated floors, everything you need in the kitchen. My only advice for those traveling from the US, be sure to have a plan to get your SIM cards immediately upon arrival. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours and when we missed our window of check-in we waited 90 minutes in the cold for someone to come and let us in to the flat. If we had gotten our SIM cards immediately we would have been able to communicate with Frank to let him know when we landed.
We had a wonderful time and miss London!
This property was perfect for our family of four. One of my kids had her own bedroom and the other slept on the very comfortable pull out couch. The property is excellently located close to a tube stop and lots of restaurants. The apartment is equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen and the bedding and towels are first quality. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there isn't air conditioning. Jacqueline was very prompt at responding to any questions that I had before our stay. I am recommending the apartment to my sister who is travelling to London and will not look elsewhere the next time I am there. You will not be disappointed!
My wife and 10 year old rented this apartment for four days in July. Despite a late check in due to some additional cleaning that was required (the previous tenants had an extended stay and our cleaner Faye was extremely diligent in ensuring everything was ship shape) we thorougly enjoyed out stay. The location is perfect with great access to shops, museums and restaurants (try Rocca, a local Italian place with great food and ambiance). South Kensington Tube station is a short walk and the area is lively without being overrun with tourists. The interior setup is ideal for a small family, the bedrooms upstairs allow for the grown-ups to have their own space to relax on the couch downstairs with a glass of wine.
