Located in the very heart of South Kensington, this stunning two bedroom duplex apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and provides contemporary and neutrally decorated accommodation with en suite facilities. The building is located on a beautiful residential street boasting period stucco-fronted buildings and is surrounded by wonderful boutiques, cafes, bakeries, bars and restaurants on Gloucester Road, Old Brompton Road and on all other streets in South Kensington.
The South Kensington subway station is located just a block away and taxis are readily available all around.
The Natural History museum and the Royal Albert Hall, just to name a few are located just a couple of blocks away. From this location, you can walk to Harrods in Kightsbridge or to Chelsea in just 10 minutes.
This beautiful apartment boasts two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a powder room. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests. Two guests in each bedroom and two on an inflatable mattress. The apartment comes fully equipped with a washer and a dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and all other necessary appliances necessary….
This property was perfect for our family of four. One of my kids had her own bedroom and the other slept on the very comfortable pull out couch. The property is excellently located close to a tube stop and lots of restaurants. The apartment is equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen and the bedding and towels are first quality. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there isn't air conditioning. Jacqueline was very prompt at responding to any questions that I had before our stay. I am recommending the apartment to my sister who is travelling to London and will not look elsewhere the next time I am there. You will not be disappointed!
My wife and 10 year old rented this apartment for four days in July. Despite a late check in due to some additional cleaning that was required (the previous tenants had an extended stay and our cleaner Faye was extremely diligent in ensuring everything was ship shape) we thorougly enjoyed out stay. The location is perfect with great access to shops, museums and restaurants (try Rocca, a local Italian place with great food and ambiance). South Kensington Tube station is a short walk and the area is lively without being overrun with tourists. The interior setup is ideal for a small family, the bedrooms upstairs allow for the grown-ups to have their own space to relax on the couch downstairs with a glass of wine.
What a fun 10 days we had in England with a 2 night trip to Paris via Eurostar (highly recommend). We kept the apartment the whole time taking just an overnight bag to Paris which was super convenient.
The flat became our little home away from home! After busy, busy days out and about, it was so nice to come home to the flat in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood of South Kensington.
There were four girlfriends that traveled and we were super comfortable and the 2 1/2 baths sure came in handy.
The kitchen was stocked perfectly with coffee maker and cups and wine glasses......doesn't take much to make us happy! We would typically have breakfast in the flat comfortably sipping our coffee watching Wimbledon on the flat screen!
We fell in love with the location.............tons of restaurants, cafes (Cacciari's being my favorite for smoothies and fresh juicing), grocery stores, The Tube station and green space. What a great time. Thanks Jacqueline!
We (four 65 and up adults) stayed here in late May 2016. Terrific South Kensington location, close to museums, parks, and two tube stations, plus friendly neighborhood eateries. Faye, the housekeeper, met us at the appointed hour as promised, and we found the flat pretty much as advertised. I'd have given the flat five stars, except that the second bedroom is quite small, as is the across-the-hall bathroom. No problem for kids. More of an issue for 70-somethings making frequent visits at night. Jacqueline and Frank, the management team, were resposnsive and helpful throughout the booking process. We'd stay again.
Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here during our vacation. The location is excellent....walking distance to the Tube, Hyde Park, History museum, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Anna was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. The only issue that we had was trying to figure out how to locate/set up the inflatable mattress (beds sleep max 4), but Anna promptly returned our calls to resolve.
We would definitely recommend this location (and already have to family members). The apartment was very clean and we really enjoyed the layout (upstairs bedrooms; downstairs kitchen/sitting room where we could eat and socialize).
WOW!!!! Absolutely wonderful stay!!!
Two girlfriends and I were staying in this truly amazing flat for a week. First of all, the location is incredible. Nearby you have many different kinds of delicious restaurants, Delis, bakeries, and cafes. The best cupcakes in town are just a few steps away and let's not even get started about the famous merveilleux (it's a must to try when you stay in London). You also have a park not far away which we picnicked in one sunny day.
Which btw, the kitchen is perfect for cooking if you're a cooking fanatic like me. The living room and kitchen are downstairs which makes it a super cool escape and awesome hang out place to entertain friends. The design of the apartment is extremely sleek and comfy. White and modern. Oh the best part ?? FLOOR HEATING!!!!! My feet and body was always toasty whilst walking in this apartment. The beds as well very comfortable and the fact that this apartment is so white really adds sunshine to your day considering how outside London can be so gray and dampening. Honestly, we spent way more time in the apartment than out because of how nice it was being home. It's a place you look forward to returning to, not one where you seek to escape and find something to do.
Oh and don't let me forget to mention and say a big big thank you to the beautiful Anna, our greeter who was absolutely lovely and super accommodating! Giving recommendations for things to do and having such a friendly smile and laugh. You made our arrival experience really wonderful.
All in all, the apartment was impeccable. Very clean and the trip was fantastic. 5 stars all the way. Thank you Jacqueline !!!!!!!! We will definitely be taking up your apartment in Budapest when we go for next year's trip. (Or perhaps your place in Paris, we will see!!) all looks so lovely.
