This beachfront stunner with sunset views sits on the tranquil bay of Gibson Bight, one of Roatan's North Shore gems. Just minutes from West End and Roatan airport, the central location of Casa de Admirada is a perfect option for your vacation.
Not only does the home sit right on a beach, but it also has a large pool, amazing outdoor living area and Cable Color high speed internet and TVs in the common areas of this home. Casa de Admirada features the following layout:The 2nd Floor of the main house has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms. There is a wraparound screened-in porch so you can enjoy the sunset in comfort. Within, the house is equipped with all the amenities. There is an apartment on the ground floor of the main house with a king-sized bed and a smaller apartment with a queen-sized bed. Both rooms have their own separate full bathrooms, living area with TV and kitchen. And of course, their own ocean view.
Out on the pool deck, there are two oversized casitas (cabanas) with ocean views. Each casita has a queen-sized bed, full bathroom, sitting area with pullout couch, mini fridge, microwave oven, coffee pot, and TV. The common areas include a covered BBQ area, screened-in 2nd floor porch, outdoor palapa and wet bar at the pool, huge pool deck, white sand beach, dock, 4 kayaks as well as paddle boards. A full size laundry room with an extra bathroom off the pool area, landscaped tropical gardens and an onsite caretaker that lives in his own separate home at the back of the property.
All of this is just minutes from West End and a 5 minute kayak or snorkel to the coral reef. If you do not need the entire property we do offer discounted rates for smaller groups on non-Holiday weeks.
Testimonials:Best Vacation Spot for our Family! What a great place. So spacious and gorgeous. A lot of thought went into this home to make it feel like a home. We had so much space for our families. The rooms were huge and the wood work was gorgeous. Having a private pool and beach front was incredible. The drive up to the home along the beach was surreal. We were so close to so many activities including the West End, Zip Lining, Diving and the snorkeling spots just around the house were great. The kids had plenty of room to roam around and play in a safe environment. And the views!! Wow, for breakfast then sitting outside for the sun to go down. My son (8) has now told us Roatan is his favorite place. We will really try to make it back to this place. Thanks!! Tom Vander Zwaag
The property is amazing, great views and and a excellent place for relax. Attentions and guest services are better than a resort. Thanks!!!
house was perfect for family group of 12, lots of spaces to gather in large or small groups. house and kitchen were well stocked. staff was responsive and helpful. scuba divers and snorkelers were very happy.
This place was better than the pictures show. There was 12 of us, one couple with 4 kids, one couple with 2 kids and one senior couple (the grandparents) so we were concerned on booking a place for our size of group. This place worked perfect, space for everyone. Not one of the kids made a complaint about sleeping arrangement and the couples all had private rooms. The pool area was just incredible with a great pool, which I was a little surprised at the size of it, looked smaller in pictures, and lots of room for the loungers. The bar was a great feature with power and running water, made our pool parties even better!
Will, the caretaker who lives in a house at front of property does a great job. I had read in other reviews how he was invisible, he truly was. He would clean the pool and do pool water tests early every morning before most of us were up (one child wakes early) and every day he and his kids (they were home and not school since we were there during Easter holy week) would rake and clean the yard as well as the beach in front of house. He did lots of things that made our stay that much better and enjoyable.
The area was amazing, a short walk down Sandy Bay on the first morning, my wife and I found a great small restaurant called the Beach Grill which had great food and beautiful view. Also found a great little dive shop called Octopus Dive School. Four of us signed up for the Discover Scuba course and had a super great time and went back for a second dive. The things you see are just amazing and on the second dive owner, Nuria was our dive master and took us over a shipwreck that was just off the reef for incredible sights, even a large Grouper followed us out to the wreck.
I had emailed Liz a few times before our trip and she was always quick to get back to me, which was so nice. Upon our arrival at the airport, which was busy, there was someone holding my name on a sheet of paper and a taxi waiting to bring us to the house just as planned. We stopped at Eldon's grocery store to get a few things on the way to the house. It turned out not to be to far of a drive, since we also rented a vehicle during our stay, which worked out great since we went back a few times to the store.
At the house we met Bertha, who showed us through the house and all the things we needed to know. She was great during our stay, always easy to get in touch with and very helpful with any questions we had about the island.
Perfect place for family with kids!
This home was incredibly beautiful and impeccably maintained. We had 14 in our group, 4 adults and 10 of our children ranging from 14-22. It was perfect for the kids to have there own space in the separate "apartments and pool casitas" and plenty of room to move around. The main level of the house had room enough for everyone to sit and hang together. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and even remarked that it had everything except a knife sharpener and then we found one a day later. The neighbors were delightful and helpful and the gardener kept the grounds and pool in perfect condition. We found a few local places to eat and made a few trips to west end and west bay. We went out to the main road and hailed a taxi which cost about $2.50- 3.00 per person each way. The taxi drivers were helpful and all very nice. No problems at all. We managed to stay with out a rental car. We found it was less expensive then renting something for 14 people. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.
The villa was perfect for our two families vacationing at this property, 9 adults in total. It accommodated the group giving everyone personal space. The villa was well appointed and maintained as described online. Will, the property manager, worked hard behind the scenes to keep things in order. I would definitely recommend it.
Gibson Bight is a quiet area of Sandy Bay - Casa de Admirada is located right on the water just up from the marina, so it wouldn't be rare to see boats passing by. Kayaks are available for your use, and with the proximity of the reef, it is possible to swim out to the reef every day during your visit.
