We had a great location near the elevator, only problem, we could seldom get an elevator going down (it seemed luckier to ride it up then back down than to hit the down button). On "checkout" day at 10am plan to wait 20 minutes plus, unless you're lucky enough to find another family above your floor having same issue and both families can "tag team" them together. The view is AWESOME , the location is GREAT! ESPECIALLY if you're having to live a gluten free lifestyle, because Dee's which is across the street to the right 0.3 miles is AMAZING and they have the gluten free FRIED batter!! I did wish the free drink vouchers were for more restaurant bar bC Spinnaker's wasn't gonna let my 6 yr old in lol. I suggest bringing an egg crate motor bC all the mattresses feel like sleeping on box springs. If you go to tower one you MUST order a Mary's Garden. If you want to lay by the pool I suggest you go sleep down there at 6am bC the seats fill up fast! I also call BS on their "towels don't reserve seats people do" policy bC I counted 6 families that left their stuff and towel on chairs and never returned for HOURS. Great time, great stay..biggest downfall was how uncomfortable and cheap the beds felt.

We arrived to find the unit smelling of cigarette smoke. We called the front office to complain. They explained that you were allowed to smoke on the balcony. When the sliding doors are open and the resident below you is smoking it comes into the unit above. Which it did. The phone was not operable. We were told that all units had the phone turned off except to dial 911. Not a problem as long as you have a cell phone. We should have been told. No curtains on the bedroom windows only cheap plastic blinds. This may not sound that bad except when you try to sleep and the window is overlooking the outside hallway which is lit for safety all night long. Now the real issue. This is the actual email sent to management at Royal America. On July 7th, while out to eat dinner there was a water leak. We got home around 9:30 PM and found 2 plus inches of water in the master bath, master bedroom and kitchen. We immediately called the front desk from my cell phone; because the phone in the unit has not worked since our arrival, and informed them of the water leak. They in turn told us that the leak was in unit 707 bathroom and had actually leaked all the way to unit 307. Water continued to come from the exhaust fan as we waited for the service to come and clean it up. I called again at 11:30 PM to find out when they would arrive and again I was told they were on their way. Called at 1:00 AM. I was told they were on their way and the same again at 2:30 AM. They never arrived and we finally slept in the living room without the use of the bathroom or bedroom. We woke the next day and called to inform them that the water for the most part had leaked to the floor below and that we were able to use towels to get up the remainder. Now there is obvious water damage to the base board, sheetrock and ceiling in the kitchen and the master bath. The unit has a musty odor that we will try to air out today and salvage the remainder of our stay. I am sending this to you because I have no idea who else to contact. I was contacted that day by Royal America and was told that I should have called them not the front desk. I asked them where was I suppose to find that information and they told me it was in the packet; that I never received at check in. Maintenance showed up apologize to us and photographed the damage called house keeping to come and disinfect the floor. At check out they apologized for not giving us the packet with the information. We never heard from Royal America again.
