Reviewer Comments:

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The location of Little Italy Charmer was perfect for our family. It was easy to get to, close to the Inner Harbor and the great restaurants in Little Italy. The property was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had sufficient cook and table service. Coffee, sugar and creamer, and salt and pepper were provided. There is a grocery store around the corner. Parking was manageable with a combination of on-street and a parking garage nearby, but a resident/visitors permit would have been nice.

Cute Little Home nicely furnished apartment

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend holiday at this home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The eating area was perfect for our group as well as the sitting area. Exposed brick makes this home so chic. Great location right near the harbor and local attractions. Manager was very responsive and helpful. They even had pack and plays for our little ones! Would highly recommend.

Great location. Comfy beds.

  • 5 of 5

We were so thankful to have a place for our whole family to stay while my husband was in Johns Hopkins for surgery and recovery during the holiday season. We had everything we needed in the house! We loved the convenience of all the shopping and restaurants as well. We had great success with free street parking and never paid a garage fee The owners thought if everything. Thanks for a welcoming retreat!!

Fantastic house, location!

  • 5 of 5

We spent Thanksgiving week here, and it was wonderful. The property itself is wonderful, 3 large bedrooms, a decent kitchen, and enough bathrooms. The two rooftop decks are great. And the neighborhood is awesome. The walkability of the neighborhood was really nice. There are more restaurants in walking distance than you can count. We will definitely consider coming back.

Little Italy

  • 5 of 5

We have loved out stay here. Well stocked with essential items. Best part is it is smack in the middle of the best of Little Italy. A few blocks from the Aquarium and the marina. Decent parking. Good communication with the owner's. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Baltimore.

About Susan Colwell

Well, here's a little about me. . . .I'm married to the best guy on the planet-Cerphe (pronounced Surf), we have a feline child-Poncey and I host a travel show on Eco Planet Radio called TravelGal. (Please check it out!) :-)

Recently, two very dear friends of mine and I fell in love with an enchanting row house in Baltimore's Little Italy. I daydreamed about it, walked around the neighborhood and discovered wonderful Italian restaurants, an amazing bakery, the cutest wine bar ever, the waterfront promenade and on and on! Each time I turned a corner there was more. Then!!!! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better--I discovered a Starbucks, Whole Foods, movie theater and incredible shopping along the Inner Harbor only two blocks away!

So my dear friends and I bought that cutie-pie house and turned it into an elegant corporate and family retreat /super-cool pied a terre.

Why Susan Colwell chose Little Italy

This is such a WONDERFUL area of Baltimore. It's like stepping back in time. The neighborhood is charming, safe and lovely— chock full of wonderful Italian restaurants, even a cozy little wine bar and popular bakery. There are tons of festivals and events in this neighborhood and in the summer time, they even play an outdoor movie (Friday nights) and all the neighbors bring their lawn chairs. It's just magical.

What makes this townhome unique

The property was built in 1850 and is so charming and cozy with it's exposed brick and good energy that it makes you want to burrow in, read a book or watch movies and unwind. But with all the shopping, dining and the Inner Harbor only steps away, the city draws you out. I also paid close attention to the comfort of the beds and house amenities like coffee, tea, sugar, hand soap, etc. All the little extras that make a home away from home feel functional and homey. I hope you enjoy what we've done!
