Very close to the Arthur Ravenel Bridge to the Charleston Downtown Historic District, the Visitor Center, local beaches, and walking distance to famous planned I'on neighborhood.

The house is in Scanlonville / Remley's Point on a quiet dead end street. This is a very Historic neighborhood - demographically and ethnically diverse and deeply rooted in the Gullah-Geechie culture.... settled after the Civil War. Fifth Avenue was a prime stop on the famous Chitlin Circuit. Local homes can be shacks or Mega Million dollar mansions. We have it all !

This neighborhood is laced with marshes, tidal creeks, and deep water, plus sunset views of the Charleston Ravenel Bridge. There are 3 public waterfront docks close by.

Sit under the fans on the back screened porch. Have your pick of the Dual Master King Suites opening to the decks, and overlooking the yard and pool. There are sets of seating all around the porches, decks, and screened porch… chair groupings, rocking chairs, gliders, tables.

Laurie is proud to be involved in local town politics and works to ensure the rental properties are Legal and approved by the town. Laurie sits on the Accommodations and Tax Committee for the Town of Mount Pleasant to dispense tax funds. She is also proud to have been chosen to be involved actively with HomeAway/ VRBO on the Owner's Advisory Council. In February of 2017, Laurie won a National Contest based upon Marketing the Rental by showcasing improvements in Rental Properties. Laurie is a part time travel specialist for international all inclusive resorts, and European River Cruises. Laurie brings professional hospitality flair into the rental properties.

Laurie happily lives in a property in this neighborhood, just a few blocks away, with her husband, George. About George: After a high powered corporate career, and then owning a successful retail chain, George now is thrilled to welcome guests to our Charleston rentals. George ensures that your visit is comfortable and smooth. He oversees the maintenance and improvements of the houses, and keeps the grounds manicured. George takes pride in seeing that your rental meets, or exceeds, your expectations. You will find George out on his boat in the waterways of the neighborhood, or walking our Pomeranian dog, Gus. We love Charleston and have lived here nearly 25 years. As the town grew, we chose to be close to downtown, and settled in this unique and changing neighborhood of Remleys Point. We feel grateful to have more than one house to share for others who wish to visit the great LowCountry area, or are here with family or friends.

We have lived in this neighborhood ourselves for over 15 years! ...and when the opportunity came available to own a 2nd home also....we were thrilled. We have enjoyed improving the property, and decorating and landscaping it, and offering it now as a family style rental.

What makes this house unique

This eclectic and interesting neighborhood and its waterfront docks, plus the closeness to Historic downtown Charleston and the Beach, makes this a perfect base for visitors. For any groups in town for a wedding, or an event, or just a vacation .....this is a great spot. The in ground pool is a wonderful addition for visitors during warmer months.

Beautiful home near Charleston, South Carolina

Our group had a great time! The house was well equipped. We were able to find everything we needed to cook a nice breakfast at home, and grill dinner outdoors in the evening. Everyone enjoyed spending time by the pool. The location was perfect! We could enjoy quiet nights in the homey neighborhood, or we were a short cab ride away from the entertainment of downtown Charleston.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to the Charleston, South Carolina area. We look forward to booking again in the future!

Awesome!!! This is the place to stay . . . .

Laurie and George are top notch. The house is so beautiful, spacious and very well appointed. Our family, ages 2 through 85, was entertained throughout the week with the pool, board games, walks down to the dock and Remleys Point. The neighborhood is very lovely and quiet. Super close (right over the bridge) to Charleston. I very much appreciated the stories and history Laurie and George provided about the area. Thanks Laurie and George. Looking forward to checking out the Big Chill next time we visit Charleston.

Fabulous!

What an amazing vacation we had. The house was beautiful. It was exactly as described. Plenty of towels in each bathroom. Cupboards were well stocked with everything you need. Normally, I bring toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and dish washing soap. I didn't need any of those at this house, they were all supplied. The location is close to everything. About ten minutes to downtown Charleston. Fifteen or twenty minutes to Isle of Palm Beach. Great restaurants! Can't say enough about this place!

Great house, perfect location, attentive owners

We just returned from 7 days in Charleston / Mount pleasant area. We had two families of 5 - 10 total guests. The house fit us perfectly. The house is well maintained, beautifully decorated and is in a perfect location. We made numerous trips to downtown Charleston (7-8 mins), hit Isle of palms beach, Sullivan's beach and Folley Beach as well, all close and beautiful. Folley beach town is great for shopping and eating. The owners were great to work with and made us feel at home. We definitely recommend you book your stay here.

Family time, fun time

Our stay over the 4th of July holiday was more than we could of asked for. Plenty of room for our family and the pool was perfect place to spend the day. All the bedrooms had very comfortable accommodations. Locations is close to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Centrally located for Charleston and surrounding attractions

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trust Pool House. I recommend it highly to anyone who plans to spend time at the nearby beaches and historical attractions in and around Charleston. The house was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a quiet residential area, it provided a perfect environment for our family. The landlord was gracious and concerned about our comfort. I highly recommend the Trust Pool House.
