Updates for 2017: new couches, new mattresses, new toilets, and new carpet.

Large three story townhouse on private white sand beach. Family friendly complex, only 45 units! Ocean view, only steps to the sand! Large balcony off living area with second smaller balcony off master bedroom, overlooking the ocean. Private parking on ground floor. Large pool with BBQ grills located in the center of the complex.

Located just 4 blocks west of US 59 on HWY 182 within walking distance of The Hangout, Bahama Bob's, multiple other restaurants, shopping and public beach. This three story condo contains 1600 SF of living space, no one above or below you!! Walk out your door immediately to your deck and right onto the white sand beach - - something you won't find in a high rise!! The first floor has a full kitchen, dining and living areas and a half bath. The second floor includes a master bedroom (Queen bed) and private bath, a second bedroom (queen) and bath. The third floor has 2 double beds. There is also a queen pull out couch in the living room. TV's in all bedrooms, with a 42' flat screen in the living room with DVD player.

We have been coming to Ocean Reef for many years and purchased this unit in 2011. We completely refurbished ALL rooms and everything in the condo.

nice stay, cant trust cleaning crew

On the beach, Yes bonus!! Could have been cleaner, had people knocking on our door at all hours of the night. I forgot my Mary Kay collection of make up and asked the owner to look in guest bath under sink, he said nothing there. I KNOW it WAS there, I asked him to ask cleaning crew and they SAY they found nothing!! It WAS IN THERE!!! THEY LIED!!! Too bad they were not honest, so, if your traveling with an 81 year old and trying to get her things together, dont forget yours!!!

Gorgeous views!

Overall we had an excellent time! The house could have been a little cleaner. And the parking is a hassle if you're expecting visitors. But access to the beach and the stunning views were awesome!

Direct access to the beach is awesome.

We have stayed at the high rise condo's around these townhouses. Although they are more updated every person in our group preferred Coral Reef Townhouses.

The lady over the townhouses was very friendly & helpful. Individual parking right outside The Townhouse was very convenient! The beach access was literally off the deck! The pool & grill was also just steps away. In our opinion the convenience outweighed the need for some things needing updating . I gave it a four star only because there was a sour odor somewhere in the kitchen & I felt like it should have been taken care of when it was cleaned before we arrived.

Good stay but needs several updates....

Overall, we had a nice stay. We have stayed in these condos a few times before, so we knew what to expect: bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, groceries, etc. This was the poorest place we have stayed in this complex. We really like the location and the fact that is has a pool for our younger children. However, there are many things about this particular condo that need updating. I see some other reviewers have already mentioned the deck outside. The pots and pans in the unit were horrible! They ruined our food and we ended up having to go buy new pans so that we could cook. These need to be replaced immediately. Many of the outlet covers and actual outlets were coming out of the wall. There needs to be more linens for the bathrooms. For a place that sleeps 10, our bathroom had four towels and three washcloths. One of the drawers in the fridge was broken and very difficult to open and close. The bottom rail in the fridge was also bent and would not hold items. They fell out every time we opened the fridge. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but we did notice that this unit is for sale. I would expect the owners will need to fix some things before they are able to sell. Oh, and do know that you have to pay for parking passes! We have never had to pay for parking passes in this complex before.

Great location!

Great location. Walk right out to beach. Was perfect size for 2 families of 4 if your children are young enough to be able to share a double bed. Was clean and could tell it was recently painted and new carpet. Beds surprisingly comfortable.

Things that could be improved. Lots of reviews mention the definitely could be replaced we all got a few splinters but soon learned to keep our flip flops on until we got to the sand. The pots and pans are pretty bad...would be nice to have a decent fry pan and a big pot to boil your fresh shrimp! Would also be nice to have a few more basic supplies like at least one roll of paper towels to start. Two of our tvs didn't work but we didn't ask for replacements. Be aware you share your deck with 2 other units. You just have to hope for good neighbors! We lucked out..could have been a different week with crummy neighbors!

Overall great place..the details mentioned above are minor. Just wish our weather would have been better. Would definitely recommend!
