The housekeepers will help you with all your needs. The house also features a 50 kilowatts generator to satisfy any event. The most valuable amenity is the ocean front and access to the 'Natural Pool' where you can fish, snorkel or go for a swim. You will enjoy a garden planted with beautiful trees and flowers around the house. Rest and peace are guaranteed.

The main attraction of Rio San Juan is the Laguna Gri Gri tour, where you ride a small boat out of the lagoon to the open ocean and even take a swin at the natural pool right behind the house.

The Alonzo family built this house in the early 1990s and lived here until the year 2000 when they moved to the capital. Now this house is a family getaway and we hope many other families will enjoy this paradise.

The land was passed from family heritage, and the house was built as the family main house. This is a very special place for us, since for many years our family had the tradition of coming here to spend christmas and new years eve, but now you can make it your own family tradition, we want families to come and enjoy this beautiful house as much as we did for many years.
Some of the unique features that make this house stand out would have to be the access to the ocean and Natural Pool right on your backyard.
We arrived at the lovely, spacious Dominican villa and ran to the yard to take in the gorgeous pool area and ocean view. This scene was spoiled, though, by the sound of heavy machinery, pounding, and yelling at a huge condo construction site just yards away, immediately adjacent to the property. The backhoes, dump trucks and shouting workers were active from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, even on Sunday! Sometimes it was so loud that we could not have a conversation poolside. This should have been mentioned in the description of the property. We learned that the property under construction had actually been sold by the owner of the home we were renting.
A second issue was the staff. There was a family of four living at the home. They had separate quarters, but were in and around the house all day. They were there for pool maintenance, security, and cooking. They were lovely people, and the meals were delicious but we were not aware of this, and feel this should have been included in the description. There was an awkwardness around not cooking for ourselves, and even coffee was prepared by the staff. There was also the awkward issue of whether this was a service included in our rent. When I emailed the owner to ask for clarity, the answer I got was "they are like family to us".
I think if I had known about the construction site we would not have chosen this rental, although if we had known, and the rental was discounted because of the noise, we might have considered it. If we had been told beforehand about the live-in staff/family, and the cost associated had been delineated, I feel we would have agreed. In fact, since there are no nearby restaurants, eating at home was our only option for dinner. Not knowing, and the extra cost of the staff, was unacceptable. The description of the property has to be updated to include these very important details.
When visiting Rio San Juan you must do the Gri Gri Lagoon boat tour which it departs from the lagoon located at the center of town, it will take you to open sea to a cave on the rocks, also to the back of the house which they called it the "natural pool" and finally to Playa Caleton.
