This unique property, which was originally constructed in 1908, was completely rebuilt and decorated in 2009. The rebuilding kept intact the apartment's classic San Franciscan style as well as its feel. The flat is located in the heart of Telegraph Hill's North Beach area, San Francisco's most desirable location due to its uniquely good weather, sun exposure and centrality to many of the city's most attractive features. The apartment's positioning on Telegraph Hill places it steps below Coit Tower, a location that allows for breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline.
The property has a living/dining room, kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, and a large roof terrace. The living/dining area enjoys southern light exposure year-round and has spectacular views of both Nob Hill and Russian Hill through its large windows. The kitchen itself is equipped with a new 24' Viking range, 24' high end apartment refrigerator, and a high quality Bosch dishwasher. The bedroom is above a quiet street and the bathroom has a full shower and claw foot tub. The terrace has full sun and has a peek-a-boo view of the Golden Gate bridge.
North Beach is a wonderful part of San Francisco characterized by its culture and nightlife. There is an abundance of restaurants, shopping and tourist destinations within walking distance from the flat that include City Lights Bookstore, Mama's Cafe and Mario's Bohemian Cigar Shop. From the apartment to North Beach's Washington Square is about a 3 minute walk.

Our names are Mark and Tami Becker and we are design professionals. Over the years we have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout the world visiting relatives in England, celebrating our marriage in Greece, living abroad in France and Tami even navigated her way through the Gobi desert. All of this traveling has led to our home in San Francisco.

San Francisco is home to a great deal of diversity and culture and North Beach is the heart of that culture. Also, because Mark is a designer, he insisted upon finding a location with good weather and proximity to the quaint, classic areas of the city. We love this location due to the ability to walk everywhere and the feeling of being in a large city, but not being overwhelmed. North Beach is the epitome of a comfortable, inviting neighborhood with all the positive features of a large city.
The outdoor patio is a beautiful respite after a day spent exploring the city. The patio is quiet and has spectacular views that can be appreciated at any time of day, whether you have just woken up or are coming home after a long night out. Another favorite feature is that the surrounding areas can easily be visited on foot, and public transportation or cab travel can get you everywhere else. We love that a car is not a necessity. On a normal day, we wake up and walk to a café and relax before heading out on our explorations. The truth is, North Beach has a feel that is very much like that of a classic European city with cafés, good restaurants and classic architecture.
We had a wonderful time. The location is off the charts. Beautiful views, access to so many cool spots in the city; yet it is quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect place to enjoy the city! Bravo!!
Super clean unit w/good instructions on it as well as superb recommendations on eats in the area!
Loved how thoughtful the host was to welcome us with a fantastic Cali Pinot noir!
Loved the garden patio, loved the adorable decor, even loved the tub! We couldn't figure out the hot water in the shower but enjoyed every minute of our hot water baths (very relaxing)!
Absolutely perfect experience! Of course, we feel extremely lucky as the weather was pretty much flawless -- SF 55 clear skies and lots of sunshine -- makes for all kinds of happy!
Did I mention the Location, Location,Location!?!?!
Well... North Beach is where it's at! Great neighborhood feel with a very cool Jazz bar (Tupelo), all really good restaurants too. **Mama's is absolutely worth the wait!!!
Everything is minutes walk away. We had a car which we were able to park in the designated space. However, you do not need a car!
Coit Tower is literally steps from this property! A short walk to Fishermans Wharf - Pier 39! In the other direction a short walk from the property to China Town! Ghirardelli Square also short walk! We literally walked everywhere except for the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard (lol). We hopped onto one of the SF Bay Cruise tours (tickets on Pier 39 walkway) which I highly recommend. Up close views of the 2 bridges and Alcatraz. Best $30 of the trip! Lombard is worth a drive... and driving over the golden gate is a must also.
We loved our 2 day trip!! Wish we had planned to stay a bit longer but we will absolutely return!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful property!

The home is beautiful. We enjoyed the patio with it's wonderful view. We heard church chimes to Christmas carols a few times. Coit tower is a short walk up the road, and Tony's pizza by the slice was a short walk down the street. It was a treat to be able to stay there.
We spent a week at this perfectly located property on Telegraph Hill. We walked to the Coit tower..twice, Lombard Street, local restaurants and shops, and Ghirardelli Square. It was perfectly located and tucked away on a private dead end street. We had a small car luckily because the parking space is on the other street and is quite small but sufficient.
We loved the interior and thought it felt roomy and comfortable for the square footage. It was decorated perfectly and the rooftop patio was amazing. We could even see the Golden Gate Bridge.
The owners were flexible allowing us to bring our son and check in a little early. The kitchen is well stocked and so is the bathroom. I cooked a prime rib and other meals and did just fine with their utensils. If the unit had a washer and dryer it would be absolutely perfect...but we did use the laundromat down the street.
Overall we had an awesome experience and will hopefully return one day soon...if our family doesn't grow too much. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to visit San Fran and stay in a local's neighborhood that's safe and family friendly. The restaurants, coffee shops and local grocers are all awesome. You have everything you need in walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is adorable, exactly as pictured. The views of the sky line from the deck are amazing. The location is perfect for getting to Fisherman's Wharf, Little Italy, China town, cable cars, bus lines. It is a cute and safe neighborhood. The apartment has everything you need for preparing lovely meals, or there are many restaurants near by. I would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful.
Loved our stay! Beautiful rooftop deck with amazing city view. Steps away from Coit Tower for amazing sunsets and a great workout walking the hills. Really got a chance to experience living in San Francisco, you just can't get this feeling in a hotel : )
