Wonderful family vacation!

  • 4 of 5

Terrific for family of 8 with kids, plenty of space for all. Fantastic location, lovely breeze, quiet, close to beautiful Pamet Harbor, beaches, and stores/farm stand/fish market. Kitchen was small and could use some additional cutlery/utensils, but we still enjoyed cooking every meal. Beds were good, although not crazy about the plastic mattress covers. Bring extra toilet paper, paper towels & hand soap. Used the Webber grill, was great. Awesome outdoor shower. Charming house with pretty garden and water views. We love Truro!!

The house was great and couldn't have asked for a better location. Plenty of room to spread out with a group of people. Very quiet and peaceful area. Minutes from beaches and Provincetown. Can't wait to return.

The house was an older property built in the 1800's and was a charm to stay at. Nice experience!

  • 5 of 5

The property was just the right size. Nice to be able to sit as a group and share stories and big enough to get away and relax to read a book or play a game. The views from the backyard were outstanding. The outside shower was a nice addition. A cozy house overall but the furniture could use a little updating and be a bit higher off the floor but otherwise comfortable. It was nice to see that each room had a fan to move the air on humid nights. If I stayed again I might just bring an air conditioner or three to make it a wee bit more comfortable. The King size bed was actually two twins but based in the age of the home and inside charm it was understandable based on spacing. Every bedroom was nice and had a unique old style/by the ocean feel to it. Strongly recommend bringing your own pillows as the ones available were a bit flimsy but again understandable for a house by the ocean. As the beds were fine we saw that most had plastic liners which made sleeping in a humid environment not a pleasant experience. Not to worry though as the house was quite nice and as mentioned before had a unique charm. Plenty of driveway space, a short walk to the marina and the best sunsets all less than a half mile.ibshould mention that the kitchen had everything needed, the laundry room was in the entry way with plenty of room. The water pressure was outstanding and plenty of hot water. Suggestions for the future would be higher furniture to make the ease of getting up and out or possible just changing the slip covers. Overall the house was lovely, the area was excellent, close to the main roads but far enough not to hear the traffic. A great library waiting for you in the TV room and neat pictures hanging on the walls. Close to everything. We would certainly go back with the suggested changes or as mentioned, just bring some pillows and an Air Conditioner to gain a better sleeping experience.

A lovely spot on Cape Cod!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! It's a classic. The location is wonderful and the Pamet River area on the bay side is picturesque and has just enough in the way of conveniences, but not so much as to interfere with the bliss.

We had very responsive, warm and friendly help when we had an issue. Thank you!!!

Perfect for us, we loved this place!

  • 5 of 5

The first night of our stay I went outdoors in the pitch dark to take a shower. The description said the outdoor shower was a great addition. I walked--felt my way--all around the house. No shower. Then I found it, set behind the garage: TOTAL seclusion. It was great. We were a party of eight, and we fit the house as well as the house fit us. We loved the proximity to ocean and bay beaches and to Provincetown and Wellfleet, but that can be said of Truro generally. The house itself was the real charmer, for both young (twins just turned eleven) and old (seventy-four--not really so old, is it?). We arrived late, after the sun went down, and just as a few lights were being considerately turned on for us by Tobia Real Estate Management. Our first impression was so satisfying we immediately relaxed into vacation mode. It was so much fun to discover the house over the time we spent there. I especially liked the library/television room downstairs, a comfortable alternative to the living room. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. The back yard with its big picnic table offered a terrific view of the tidal marsh leading out to Cape Cod Bay at its widest. The house sat high above the marsh and caught breezes at all times. We were there for two weeks. We could have stayed forever.

A wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house for its space and location. We got much more. A beautiful view, a large lawn, a wonderful outdoor shower, and most of all caring and helpful management. This home has the old Cape Cod charm. If you are looking for fancy and modern this won't be for you. But if you appreciate the charm, the quiet, and the space you can't go wrong. Thanks so much for your part in making our stay so memorable.
