So close and yet so far...
This beautiful cabin is only minutes away from Canton and First Monday but it feels like you're a world away when you're there. The interior is charming and everything you need for a nice stay is included. My best friend and I loved it so much, we booked it for the same time next year while we were there. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
p.s. We did have an issue with the combo lock at the entrance gate. We were able to get in but the lock might need to be replaced or addressed. :)
Relaxing and peaceful!!!
A nice place for two to go away from the stress of our daily routines.
Perfect weekend getaway to relax
My newlywed bride and I headed to the cabin for the weekend following our wedding night, and it was perfect. Peaceful in the middle of the woods, it was an ideal setting for two introverts to recover from weeks of nonstop wedding planning and a full day of celebration to just enjoy being with each other for a couple days.
Check-in was easy and straightforward, the place was extremely clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and well equipped. I was concerned from the photos that it might be a little dated but that wasn't the case at all. We enjoyed meals out on the patio where we could take in the rustic setting better. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting some time away from the rush of everything and anything.
This is our 4th time to stay at this cozy cabin. We keep coming back as it is always clean, everything we need is there and it is just a wonderful place to get away from all the stress of everyday living. My husband and I take our books and our coffee and sit on the upper deck among the trees and enjoy the sounds of birds as we read. At night we enjoy looking at the stars. Yes, you can actually see the stars, not like in the city!
Canton is close enough to go into for breakfast or lunch if you like or dinner if you don't want to cook.
We will be making a 5th stay in the future.
Absolutely the best place to stay to relax and get away from it all.
Absolutely Charming!!! Can't wait to come back.
I surprised my husband with this cabin. I told him we were going to stay in the same motel as the last time we visited Canton for the trade days. I was worried that he may be upset that there was no internet or television but he ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! He was up before the crack of dawn both mornings we were there just listening to the birds and wildlife. I only wish our time that we spent at the flea market had not dominated so much of our time while we there and we didn't have more time to just experience the quiet and peacefulness of this wonderful place. I will definitely look for this cabin the next time we return to Canton.
Wonderful, secluded getaway.
We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Despite the 90+ degree heat, the shade from the trees made being outside comfortable. It was perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway. Loved the layout of the cabin. Thanks so much!
