This is a great Water Front Townhouse in Yarmouth, offering beautiful views on salt water Bass River. The condo is ideally located amid the hustle and bustle of Cape Cod or it can become your own oasis of calm & relaxation. The simplicity of life is perfectly captured here on Bass River. You will be enchanted as you enjoy your morning coffee on your own private balcony or a glass of wine in the evening as you watch the boats come in & out from the Marina directly in front of you. The Townhouse is in walking distance to the Rental Center for Canoes and Kayaks. The top floor has a living/dining area with full modern bath which also includes a queen size sofa bed. Additionally, a newly renovated efficiency kitchen features a stove top and full size refrigerator for those of you who enjoy dabbling with a plethora of local delicacies.
The bottom floor features two queen size beds and full bath. It opens up to the patio with table, chairs and of course, a gas grill. The patio is only steps away from the heated pool.
What an amazing adventure awaits you.

Janet and I started visiting “the Cape” back in 1986. Initially, we viewed the Cape as just a great getaway. Over time, the frequency of our visits increased. We stayed at hotels, rented houses, condos, and timeshares. We rented this particular Townhouse at Bass River for three consecutive years. We fell in love with the area and in a short time made a decision to buy it.
John & Janet Rapoza purchased this townhome in 2014
The Condo is well run, well maintained and Crowd Free. This spot offers privacy and great views. It is located at the center of the Cape where you can access a variety of entertainment ideas, shopping and all varieties of water sports.
We have been visiting Cape Cod for many years and have stayed in a long list of hotels, motels, rental cottages and condos. None have equaled John and Janet Rapoza’s Bass River Condo in South Yarmouth. The Rapozas are very accommodating and their rates are more than fair. The condo is comfortable, immaculate and well maintained. It’s near a great variety of restaurants, shopping, water activities, walking and bicycle trails. If all you want to do is sit back and relax, just take a seat on the upper deck and watch the parade of boats, kayaks and canoes riding the tide on the Bass River. Enjoy! We always do.
The condo is immaculate! It is comfortable and decorated beautifully! The view from either the balcony or the lower deck is wonderful. You can watch the boats, paddle boarders, kayakers and everyone else enjoy Bass River. It's centrally located and is very quiet and peaceful. The beds are comfortable and the condo offers everything you need. John was easy to reach and very prompt in responding to any questions that we had. We have visited the Cape many time and this was our favorite place to stay!
We've been looking for the "perfect vacation place" for a long time. We finally found it here! The townhouse had everything we needed-really! Our favorite thing was the view of the water. We sat on the upper balcony for breakfast and in the evening watching the birds and boats. The townhouse itself was very clean and very comfortable and really did have everything we needed. Plus it was quiet. We will definitely stay again!
My wife and I came to the cape for our honeymoon and we stayed here! I believe we are the first renters for the current owners and we could not have been more satisfied! When we arrived we were welcomed with a "congratulations" bottle of champagne in the fridge! Thank to the owners for that personal and considerate gesture! The cottage was amazing! Clean, cute and in an amazing location on the cape! We plan on making a trip back to the cape in June or July next year and hopefully we will be able to stay here again!
From the initial contact with the owner, our experience renting this townhouse was wonderful. John responded to every email promptly and provided answers to our questions. The townhouse was exactly as shown/described and just enough room for the two of us. The time of year was perfect for our visit; weather was perfect and not overcrowded. The sunrise every morning was just spectacular! I couldn't stop taking photos. We visited many of the beaches as well as a trip to Martha's Vineyard. Shops are convenient for groceries, ice cream parlors were too convenient (lol), and theres several restaurants in the area. We enjoyed dinner at Summer Shanty located directly across the water from the townhouse. The one thing I missed was access to do laundry; however, there is a laundromat approximately 5 miles from the townhouse. Thanks ChefJohn for allowing us to enjoy your townhouse!
All attractions are close by, such as golfing, boating, shopping & Antiquing. There is a huge variety of eateries, catering to all. It is only 15 minutes to Hyannis, where you can catch a ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.
