Michael Marino purchased this house in 1999
The Wine Country has a lot to offer but when it comes to where we wanted to buy the decision was easy, Sonoma Valley is the best. Hands down!
One of the best benefits of the rental is it's size. It's larger then most 2 bedroom houses out there. It's 2700 sq feet and is very private. The location is also a plus, only 5 minutes to the downtown plaza and 5 minutes to the wineries.
This was a fantastic house - it was even nicer in person that the pictures depict. We visited for a weekend with our four-month old baby and another couple. We stayed upstairs so that in the morning when our baby woke up, we could change, feed, and play with her in the upstairs family room without waking up the other couple. At night, our baby went to bed early and us four adults could be downstairs without disturbing her. We made dinner and brunch in the large and lovely kitchen. It was also very close to grocery stores, coffee shops, wineries, downtown Sonoma for dinner, etc. Overall, this was a great house in a great location.
We loved this secluded and quietly elegant gated hide a way! The perfect location for exploring Sonoma and close enough to easily explore Napa. We will stay here again and will recommend this to our friends. The owners were so accommodating to our needs and requests. We also employed their limo driver, Michael...he is the best!
We enjoyed our stay but could not enjoy the outside area as mosquitos were so bad.
We loved that this house provided two king bedrooms to allow for two couples to stay and be very comfortable without trying to figure out who had to have the smaller bed/room. We loved the hot tub and although we had a minor clitch with the hot tub, Michael responded to our calls very quickly and got the matters taken care of very efficiently. Everything we needed was at the house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
We spent 4 nights, up on our arrival the heating had gone out and it was cold in the house and Mike had mentioned the problem with the heater. They had supplied heaters for the bed rooms, which were very comfortable, but the other ones in the sitting areas were not doing there job.As soon as we called about the problem we had heaters and wine. They were very accommodating. The house is very nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. I have no problem recommending this property, they are nice to work with. Becky from Dallas
The home looked just like the pictures - well appointed, cozy, comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, great BBQ outside for grilling. Plenty of linens for both bedroom and bathroom needs and hot tub. Hot tub fits 4 people fairly snug, but a good one. Loved the outdoor dining table with the outdoor chandelier overhead - made for a great outdoor dining experience and we lingered a long time at that table enjoying our company. The property was a short 5 minute drive to the Sonoma square, and a short 2 minute drive to gas, ice, drinks, etc. There are two other houses on the property behind the gate, so if you are looking for complete isolation this might not be the place for you. Our home shared a backyard gate with another home that was like a lock off garage property - I believe our roofs were connected. But we didn't have any issues with noise or anything from others, I think the detached house next door was the only other one rented besides ours that weekend.
