We purchased this condo next door to the condo (230D) we purchased 20 years ago. We now have 2 fantastic units at Island Beach Club.

Island Beach Club is the best condo complex on the island. We are the closest condo to the beach and enjoy floor to ceiling views of the water. If you want to see and hear the water then this is the condo for you.

We recently purchased this condo and now own 2 condos side-by side.

A second fabulous stay!

This is our second six-week stay and it is 5 star for the extensive ocean view, approximately 18 feet of windows that cause one to feel they are sitting on the beach. When our guests walk-in, they are taken away. If you prefer actually sitting on the beach, everything is provided - umbrella, chairs, cooler. We especially appreciate the kitchen that is well-stocked with cooking gear as we love to cook the fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables available from the Sanibel Farmers Market. The guest bedroom is comfortable as is the MBR that has two sinks and a large walk-in closet. The smart TV and wifi are essentials any more. Island Beach Club is fantastically located to the west end of the island and this helps avoid some of the Periwinkle Rd. traffic. It is a quiet area with friendly owners and guests who visit. Susie is good to work with and responsive to questions and needs. We hope to stay again in the future.

Paradise

Sorry this is so late but I just have to say that this was our best vacation ever. The condo was perfect and very close to the ocean. The view was amazing. Susie Kentner was very accomodating and thought of everything to make our stay more pleasant such as board games and beach umbrellas etc. We have three kids- at the time ages 11,14 and 15, and they loved the beach so much , we only went to the pool once. Fantastic Beachfront Vacation

The condo took our breath away from the moment we stepped through the front doors and took in the view of the Gulf through the floor to ceiling picture windows. The condo was immaculately clean and well maintained, and very comfortable for our family.

The grounds are well maintained, and the pool was clean with a great mix of shady and sunny areas in the pool area. The beach and pool were mere steps from the condo.

Working with the condo owner was great, they were very responsible and helpful, and reached out to us before, during and after our trip to check in on us.

The condo is outfitted just like described, with the happy surprise of an outside storage closet with lots of beach gear, umbrellas, chairs, and buckets and shovels for the kids to name a few things.

In addition to be located right on the Gulf, the property is about five minutes from two grocery stores and several restaurants on the island, and the island wide bike path runs right in front of the property as well.

I would unreservedly recommend this property to my friends and family, and our family would happily stay here again the next time we are on Sanibel Island.

Great vacation, beautiful condo with a great view

We literally gasped when we walked into the condo, the view was stunning. We were nervous about renting on-line but the reviews were so positive and we talked to the owners on the phone a lot or via email before we came. We were so happy we picked this unit, we can't wait to go back. Nicely decorated, very clean and kitchen was well stocked with newer items. Lots of thoughtful little things in the condo - a styrofoam cooler to take to the beach, plastic glassware to use on the beach, bug spray in the laundry room, etc. Bedrooms were large, bed were comfortable. Lots of drawers to use and hangers in the closet. Nice l-shaped screened balcony with a view of the beach. Beach was only a walk down a flight of stairs and then then 30 seconds across some grass. It's a small complex so the beach doesn't get that crowded with people. It's a 7 minute bike ride to the general store/grocery store Bailey's. I would highly recommend this condo.

Another Five Star Review

As six year returning visitors to Sanibel, we’ve rented other properties and seen inside many others rented by friends and in open houses. Here is what makes this unit exceptional for us:

• Incredible beach access and views. The unit must have been built prior to longer set-back requirements. You are extremely close to the water in this unit and being on the second floor is an advantage at this location because we truly felt we were sitting on the beach even in those January days of cool weather and rain that occurred in Jan 2016.

• Responsive and fair owner (Susie) who takes care of the property and attends to the needs and wants of renters.

• Open floor plan, connecting the kitchen, dining and living rooms.

• Clean, clean, clean – furniture is not worn, frayed or stained with sun tan oils, clean inside the drawers.

• Good lighting, via all the windows, but also lamps and light fixtures.

• Good TV viewing area, six + people could watch the Super Bowl and have good sight lines. Free Netflix, Smart TVs.

• Pleasant, fresh decorating style that adds to the relaxation.

• Well-equipped kitchen. We enjoy the opportunity to prepare our meals with extra-good, fresh, local ingredients.

• Full-size washer and dryer in separate laundry room that also has lots of storage.

• Comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels, extra towels.

• Huge bonus – vanity and second sink in the large, walk-in closet. This makes the master bathroom very, very nice.

• Screened deck area, with large sliding glass door that opens the living room up to a large outside living area. Ceiling fans add to comfort level when doors are open. Susie has thoughtfully provided two good fans, one a large floor fan and one very good smaller fan for tabletop.

• Susie is even so thoughtful as to provide extra light bulbs and batteries so renters can attend to those small matters without purchasing them. This shows her attention to detail!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!

This was the second time staying here and it was just as perfect as our first time. Words really can't describe how great of a view you get from this condo. The view itself is worth every penny and the condo is just a great extra you get. Everything is just as it's pictured but better in real life. Susie made sure everything was perfect and it was. Can't wait to come back and stay here again.

The views are incredible! The wrap-around lanai has the best views on Sanibel. Our condo is located on the best part of the beach for shelling. The bike path is directly in front of the complex.
