A great spot for those who want to explore Boston, Cape Cod or just want to spend some time on the beach. The Old Colony commuter rail line is a few miles west, while the Plymouth - Provincetown ferry is just a few miles south. Downtown Plymouth is 10 minutes away, Boston 45 minutes north and Cape Cod is 20 minutes south. Kingston town beach along with beaches in nearby towns (Duxbury, Marshfield, Plymouth) makes this a great destination.
This sweet suite is 900 square feet and is nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac. Wifi, cable, AC, and french doors leading out to a relaxing deck make this a pleasant respite for days to hang out.
Full eat in kitchen includes a cooktop stove, wall oven, frig, and dishwasher. Other amenities include a washer and dryer in a spacious bathroom and a gas fireplace in the kitchen offering a bit of charm when eating in.
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for our Christmas vacation back home to visit friends and family. The owners were very kind and accommodating. They went as far as decorating for Christmas! The kitchen was well stocked with staples including coffee, milk, cream, bread, butter and eggs for our first morning. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay: full kitchen with appliances, washer and dryer and a gas fireplace to take the chill out of the cold winter nights. Talking with the owners felt like catching up with old friends, we will definitely consider staying again on our next trip back home!
Had a fabulous stay in Kingston. The apartment was spacious, spotless and so comfortable with everything you could possibly need for your self catering stay. Very close to Plymouth and the train station to Boston. Joanne and Steve were perfect hosts and delightful to chat with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.
We have stayed at quite a few VRBO's and this one tops the list. Property is spacious, clean and comfortable. Steve and Joanne are the perfect hosts. Lot's of info on where to go and what to see in the surrounding areas. We used public transportation to Boston with no worries. We highly suggest you do not drive in Boston. Then we used our rental car to explore the Cape, Plymouth (my favorite) and Salem.
Fall foliage trip out of Boston and up into New Hampshire was AMAZING!!!!!!
Our thanks to Joanne and Steve for making your home available to us.....
This is a lovely, light-filled "granny cottage" attached to the owner's home. It has charming features like pocket doors, skylights, wood flooring and even a gas fireplace in the kitchen/dining room. The living room has a spacious deck off of it and faces the wooded backyard. This might be the quietest, most tranquil place we have every stayed.
The kitchen was outfitted with a good coffeemaker and the owner had even thoughtfully supplied the house with coffee, creamer, sweetners along with eggs and bread. You can arrive late and still have the supplies for breakfast the next morning. We weren't familiar with the community of Kingston when we booked the cottage but now appreciate how convenient it is. We made easy days trips to Cape Cod several days but also to Boston on another day. We explored the Plymouth area and nearby lovely beaches.
This place is the best for those who wants to travel across MA. Location is in the middle of all tourist attraction destinations. Plymouth is 12 minutes to drive, Boston (we were using subway from Quincy Adams) around an hour, Hayannis 40 minutes, Provincetown less than 2 hours. Owners of the house are very nice people! They helped us to decide which places we should go and which routes should we take. I definitely would recommend this place to my friends!
We arrived to a warm welcome at Joannne and Steve's house, and were shown into what would be our home for the next few days. Our first reaction was "isn't it big!" - which is apparently what everyone says..... Two high ceilinged rooms, a mezannine bedroom, a huge bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you could need - all spotless and beautifully appointed. Add a lovely garden, and your own deck - what more could you want?
It's a great base to explore Cape Cod, and Plymouth is only 15 minutes way. This is a lovely town, which we particularly liked for its atmosphere, history, and lots of good places to eat. Try Woods seafood, informal fast food with lobsters!
Joanne and Steve are the perfect hosts, and have the knack of providing you with information and chatting about the area, or leaving you alone if that's what you prefer.

Kingston is a small coastal community just north of Plymouth Center and just south of Duxbury beaches.
