The cabin is very clean and is tastefully decorated which makes it a cozy retreat. The home sleeps six people comfortably. The guest bedroom and full bathroom are located downstairs. During your stay, we hope you feel at home and relaxed as you enjoy all the special amenities that this home has to offer.
We regret this home is not motorcycle accessible or handicap accessible.
Hi there! I was born and raised in South Florida and that there is where I still reside with my wife and 3 children. Living down here in paradise where it’s always summer is great, but when we go on vacation we like to head up to the mountains for a change of scenery. We like Maggie Valley, NC because you get you experience all the seasons. Our goal is to visit our home 4 times a year, one visit for each season. There is so much to do and see no matter what season it is.
We have put a lot of work into our house in order to make it feel like your own home away from home. During your stay with us, we hope enjoy all the amenities that the home as to offer. We have one rule– take a deep breath, breathe in the clean mountain air, relax and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Brandon Jones purchased this house in 2014
We love our home because you truly feel like you are in a tree house and away from it all but still close to everything. The location of the hot tub is great because you are surrounded by trees and can look up to see the stars. We also enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs and eating our meals on the covered deck. The hot tub is another one of our favorite things about this home because it helps us to unwind and provides ultimate relaxation. The location of the home is perfect because we are very close to great restaurants, shopping, and streams and can go hiking in our own back yard.
You will have access to the hot tub on the outdoor deck. The house includes a gas grill and covered patio which is great for barbecues. The fully furnished kitchen includes everything you need to make a delicious meal. There is also access to toys, games, books, cable television and high speed WiFi internet for your entertainment needs.
We have frequent interaction with our guests through email and phone. We respond to emails very quickly as messages are sent right to our phones. We are also very good about picking up our phones and returning phone calls in a timely manner. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions once you arrive to our home. We will be more than happy to assist you in order to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
This mountain getaway was absolutely perfect. The cool mountain air felt so great on the screened-in porch. It was late May and we even used the gas fireplace for a while. This place has all the comforts of home and is located in a beautiful setting with lots of hiking and other activities nearby. There's a binder on the coffee table that was very helpful to us when planning our day out. But the place itself is nice enough to just stay in! The home is well built and VERY clean. If you like a quiet mountain getaway, I highly recommend staying here.
Fernbrook Treehouse was everything you could possibly want or need. Not often does the product match the ad. Fernbrook Treehouse was that and more.
VERY clean, in excellent shape, close to everything we wanted to do and the only thing missing was the fact we didn't book it for a longer time.
Brandon was one of the best owners we have worked with and we come to Maggie Valley at least 2-3 times a year.
We would recommend this little bit of heaven to everyone.
The cabin is cozy. We found the kitchen/dining area to be tight for cooking. It is great for a frozen pizza or burgers on the grill kind of dinner but small for cooking a real meal. The rest of the cabin is nicely sized and cute. The drive up was steep and the last roads up were unpaved gravel and with spring rains had become very rutted. Our minivan struggled getting up and down the roads. The parking area does require maneuvering as previously commented on. The manager was very helpful and very responsive. Overall a nice little cabin.
We had a great time at Fernbrook Treehouse! We had originally planned on camping in GSMNP, but an April cold front changed those plans last minute. We were able to book Fernbrook Wednesday and check in Friday. We couldn't have been happier with the cabin. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids, even when it was 22 degrees outside! The cabin was fairly secluded feeling, even though there were several other cabins nearby. There is one cabin that is immediately next door, but luckily it was empty during our stay. The road up from Maggie Valley is very steep, but it is paved most of the way. If there is any chance for freezing temps, it would be a good idea to have extra food and drink just in case. We were extremely happy with our stay and would gladly stay again!
Thanks for the hospitality!
We had an amazing trip at the Fernbrook house. The view was stunning and the house was very cozy. We loved having a binder of suggestions of things to do. We can't wait to plan a trip to come back! Brandon and Becky were so great in answering any of our questions and making sure our stay was incredible!
