I was born and raised in Evansville IN and then became a chef and travelled to various places. I always wanted to live in France and accomplished my dream by working with Disneyland Paris for 12 years which began prior to opening in 2002. My husband is French and we enjoy taking our two Golden Retrievers for long walks in the forest, which is a 15 minute walk away. Highly recommended. The suite was free from any odours (e.g. tobacco) when we arrived. Windows on both sides give complete cross-ventilation and the inside temperature was always comfortable in July.
The location is within walking distance of the chateau and a grocery store. For those with a car, there is first-come, first-served parking which always had space for us. We found Fontainebleau an easy place to drive in.
Unlike many rental suites in France, this one has a dedicated laundry room with separate washer and dryer, both of which worked efficiently. For North American guests, this is a major plus.
Robin is friendly, efficient and easy to work with. We would certainly come here again ourselves.
