Perfect family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were so excited to find that this cabin was available for a last minute trip up north for Labor Day. My husband and I came up with our 2 young daughters and our dog. We had a blast playing games, roasting s'mores in the fire pit and just enjoying our time together. The TV didn't get turned on once, which is probably the highest praise I could offer as the mom of 2 young kids! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views, fresh air, relaxation beyond belief. Lots of outdoor activities!

  • 4 of 5

Recommend bringing a boat to fully enjoy the lake but very close to Huron National Forest and all of its trails. Went hiking every day and saw lots of wildlife-deer, turkeys, bald eagles, raccoon, and fox-just to name a few. Great haven to return to each evening to enjoy sunset and meal cooked in the cabin or on deck. Great stargazing! Very homey and relaxing inside with comfy couches and chairs. Beautiful pine interior. I would stay here again.

Peaceful retreat

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful weekend stay at your cabin. It was spacious, clean and cozy. When we arrived it was raining and we got to take advantage of the large selection of board games. So fun! The kids caught many frogs and we had fun trying to catch some fish. We were not successful but it was great trying. The views were beautiful. It was nice and quiet and the neighbors we did see were very kind. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

Thank you!

Clean, comfortable and fun!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed Memorial Day weekend of this year and had a wonderful time!

The amenities were just as advertised, and we had a great time visiting friends locally, fishing from the canal, and having evening bonfires! We also had an opportunity to see the first beavers we'd ever seen in the wild traveling the canal almost every evening! A cool plus!

Clean, comfortable, fun and a great location ... we look forward to returning!
