I am in my forties, and my wife and I have three wonderful children. I work in property management and real estate and manage this vacation rental for my parents. I love to read, exercise, and spend time with my family and making properties beautiful. I was a high school science teacher for 18 years and love learning about nature, culture, and the world around me.
Keith purchased this townhome in 1995
Great access to Venice Beach, the Venice Canals, and the Marina - a 5 to 10 minute walk, or a 2 to 3 minute bike ride, to all of the above! 20 minute bike ride to Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, etc... You decide - action and entertainment, or a quiet retreat. Sunsets included!
Location, location, location. Wake up, walk a block to the sand, sit down in the sand and watch the surf - while getting connected to nature and something higher!
It was exactly as pictured, super cute. The house was fully stocked with everything but the groceries! There were fresh clean towels, sheets, extra blankets, silverware, 2 coffee pots! Even a few condiments. Very convenient! Literally a two minute walk to the beach. The beach by the house was also much cleaner, and less crowded than the more popular spots like Venice beach and Santa Monica beach. Great location, we were able to get in and out easily. Washington street was just a few blocks walk, it was pretty neat. We had Starbucks daily, and tried fish and chips at the Whaler. Venice boardwalk is a short drive down Pacific Ave, and I do recommend driving, unless you are super fit and like to walk! A Lot! W also checked out some local live entertainment. We went to Harvell's on 4th in Santa Monica. Great house band in Monday night!
The house was just as pictured. Perfect size for our party. Literally is a two minute walk to the sand, about 5 minutes walk to the water. The beach by the house was a whole lot cleaner, acc less crowded than the beach in Venice and Santa Monica. The neighbors were very nice. Parking was a little tricky getting in and out, but not too hard to manage. We walked down to Washington Blvd a couple of times. There's a Starbucks right on the corner, and we ate at the Whaler, and Baja Cantina a few blocks up from the beach.
The house was fully stocked with everything but groceries. There was coffee, sugar, creamer, towels, toiletries and even diapers! They thought of everything, which really made our stay a lot more convenient. Awesome place, we fell in love with the place on the first day. We week definitely stay again next time. Thank You Keith
This was a great stay. The apartment was just as described and was super convenient for us - close to our son and his family, close to the beach and great walking paths along the lagoon. Keith was quick to respond to our needs. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and would definitely return!
This was a fantastic beach apartment for our family! The location was perfect--that stretch of beach is much less crowded than other LA beaches, and it's just steps away. The neighbors were very interesting and helpful. My kids loved the sand toys and boogie boards that came with the apt. There's a lot of space in the unit and it was great to have the second bathroom. We would definitely stay there again!
We enjoyed our stay here for almost a month this year. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy and accommodated our entire family. The neighbors can be kind of loud at night but it was never a real issue for us. Most of all, Keith was incredibly responsive and accommodating, he really made this feel like home before, during and after our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly to others!
