Walking into this open concept Cordoba home, you will be awed by the interior designer created “Desert Oasis” décor which was completed in October 2011. The location provides the privacy you desire, with a large, premium lot, enclosed backyard and open space beyond. The house is situated to maximize natural light with a south facing great room (living/dining/kitchen) and master bedroom. There are expansive views of two mountain ranges from both the front and back yards.
In this non-smoking, non-pet home you will find that every detail has been attended to. The kitchen is a chef’s delight with an island, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and everything you need to create delicious meals. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the guest room. The bedrooms have luxurious bedding and the bathrooms have plush linens, Corian vanities, and double sinks in the master bath. The floors are mostly ceramic tile, with carpet in the bedrooms and living room to add softeness. There is a large, fully equipped laundry room, flat screen HD TVs in all rooms, 2 DVD players, stereo with CD player, wireless internet, desk with print/scan/FAX/copy machine, games, books and even an electric golf cart in the 2 car garage for your use. The beautiful backyard was professionally designed with a gas BBQ (plumbed to the gas line so you never have to fill a heavy propane tank!), dining on the covered patio and a conversation area next to the fountain. The new Santa Rosa club house, which is very near to this home, and the Montecito club house offer state of the art fitness centers, grand ballroom, hobby rooms, lighted tennis, Bocce Ball, indoor and outdoor pools, pickle ball, sports court, indoor walking track, saunas, Jacuzzis, and exercise classes. There are lifelong learning classes, a library and every type of hobby club imaginable. The Golf Club includes a pro shop and a fine dining restaurant. There is an 18 hole championship course and an 18 hole par-3 course. Green fees are the same as what you would pay as a resident and the golf cart is included. Green fees are discounted further if you play in the afternoon.

My husband and I live in Santa Barbara, California. Though we are not yet able to retire, we fell in love with this home's open floorplan, the upgrade options and the community activities. My wife and I rented this property for the month of October 2015. The house and grounds were even better than pictured. The title of this review sums my opinion up - everything was just perfect. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the grounds were a pleasure. Perfect for coffee on the patio in the morning. The owners, Andra and John, were most helpful from the initial inquiry through the end of our stay. A most pleasant experience. I would recommend a stay at this property to anyone. We were so impressed with the property and the community that we bought a home of our own. I rated this 5 stars because that was as high as they would let me go - it deserves more.
My husband and I rented this comfortable property for the month of April 2014 and found the listing description and photos were accurate. The house was clean and well maintained and extremely well equipped for our stay. Andra was very good and prompt in answering any questions. We found the house and yard to be private and quiet and it was lovely to have the citrus trees bearing fruit; the other trees were flowering as were some cacti - all attracting hummingbirds. We definitely would recommend this property to friends and relatives. We drove into adjoining LaQuinta and Palm Desert for restaurants and shopping. The Jackalope on hwy.111 east of Jefferson is a great place for drinks or a meal with live music.
When we rented, the property was brand new (2012). The listing gave a very good description of the property. The home was nicely decorated and the kitchen was very well supplied (the best we've experienced in the last 10 years of renting through VRBO).
Golf was very reasonable. The North course, Par 3, 18 hole course was very challenging and playable by the average golfer.
Current construction in the immediate area was tolerable. Once completed we would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives.
Access to all activities, shopping, etc. was very easy.
