Conveniently located at the east end of the Yakima Valley and just west of the Tri-Cities, Wine Country Headquarters features two furnished bedrooms with king size beds, and a third furnished as an additional bedroom with a full size bed, minus a door and closet. (It's perfect for extra guests or the kids!) The main bathroom features an antique claw foot bath tub, shower, and pedestal sink. The second half-bath is equipped with a shower stall and toliet. Hi! We are a family of 6 from SE Washington. We run a couple of campgrounds/RV parks: Tamarack RV Park in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Beach RV Park in Benton City, Washington. We love traveling, camping, and sailing.
Katie Roberson purchased this house in 2004
We own Beach RV park behind Wine Country House, so it was natural to own this home, and offer it to guests. The house is very solid and well-built, and very quiet.
This home is between Tri-Cities and Yakima, making it uniquely situated for boating/hiking adventures in the valley, living in while work contracting at Hanford Nuclear Site, or enjoying a wine-tour weekend with friends.
The house is spacious and well located for access to the local wineries and walking trails. With all the creature comforts we felt at home cooking and relaxing with an assortment of entertainment options. The park is quiet and having the owner/manager on site was a plus. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of service.
The house and area were nice. Only thing would have made it nicer was if there was a menu of the channels that were available and if there were instruction for using the VCR and DVD. NOt having these and not wanting to interrupt your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day made it sort of boring.
My wife and I stayed in this home for 3 nights and found it very comfortable. The house and yard were very clean and well kept up and it is very easy to find. We cooked our meals each day at the house and found everything we needed to cook and eat with. The only issue I had was the barbeque was filthy , I spent half of an hour cleaning it before I could use it ( is this part of the cleaning crews job ? ) We paid the extra 25 dollars for the hot tub and they filled it with fresh water and had it warm and ready when we arrived. This is a very nice service , I have rented other places with hot tubs and they were so bad you did not want to get in. Overall the description and pictures are accurate and if you are here for the wine tasting you could not find a more central location, I will definitely rent again when I am in the mood for a wine country escape.
Our overall experience/stay at this vacation house rental, was more than we expected! The house itself was up to the standards we were hoping for. It was just us 3 adults and a 6month old and you could probably have fit another couple, and some more kids if you wanted to. The home was very spacious, and quiet. Makes for a very good location if you just wanna get away. We didn't come across any problems and didn't have any questions about anything. We wish we had time to use the bbq grill, but we will try that out next time.
We are probably (more than likely) going to rent this again in the future!
We had 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. Very comfortable and felt safe and secure. Easy to get in and out and very convenient to the interstate to get around the Tri-Cities area. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked great! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent it again if we return.
The house was great . Its our second time staying at this house . Its large , clean , and very convenient . Its across the street from the river we love fishing in and the people there are very nice .
Red Mountain wineries are located just north of Benton City, WA at the east end of the Yakima Valley AVA and just west of the Tri-Cities. The official Red Mountain AVA is home to 18 wineries.

This online reservation software system has a glitch, in that it charges for extra adults, but not "children". For each guest over the limit of two, we charge abit extra per night, and last we checked, children are guests! When making your reservation, please count each child as an "adult"...that will give you the correct price for your stay. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Cancellations anytime up until 30 days prior to your stay will be cheerfully refunded minus a $10 processing fee.
