Quiet, remote cabin. Would stay again.

  • 4 of 5

Our stay at spruce run was enjoyable. We attended the LLWS in Williamsport, made a trip to Philadelphia, and got a lot of rest and relaxation. The cabin was quiet, off the beaten path, but still close enough to civilization. We would recommend this property to anyone considering traveling to this area.

A perfect low key family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is an adorable cabin, perfect for one or two families looking for some relaxing time in the woods. There are nice trails from the house that are easy enough for kids, and a creek to explore. The cabin is lovely, and well-maintained. Rental was easy and communication from the owner was very fast and helpful. The rates were very reasonable. The only negative was the number of mosquitos, though that was expected- just bring bug spray! We plan to come again, and will try out some other seasons too! It looks like it would be a perfect winter getaway, and we loved it in the summer as well. It would also be perfect for a romantic getaway, or quiet retreat with friends. We have absolutely nothing but the best things to say about this spot!

Great cabin with privacy!

  • 5 of 5

We had a girls weekend here. The cabin is tucked away but not far from restaurants and local attractions (including a few covered bridges). We had a great time and would definitely come back!

nice, secluded house

  • 4 of 5

We were looking for a nice secluded spot to spend a long quiet weekend, and this didn't disappoint. We saw (and heard) more wildlife then we often do in National Parks. And we never saw another person. The kitchen is nice and well-stocked. The only negative I can think of is that we could hear the neighbors' loud music one night. Of course, this is not the fault of this property's owner, and it did not last long. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dog, a recent rescue who is not ready to be left alone just yet. He had a blast chasing chipmunks and bees and living leashless for 3 days.

We stayed for 2 nights at Spruce Run Hideaway - this property is clean and comfortable. Wish we had more time to enjoy the area.
