Quaint and quiet the 'Hideout' sits towards the back of the property and has a private patio, tiled bathroom and separate kitchen. Plenty of onsite parking. 4-1/2 miles to Clearwater beach and 1 miles to delightful downtown Dunedin.
The hideout is very private and has a cute, covered patio that most of the year is draped with passion vines and flowers. It sleeps two but you can squeeze in a folding bed.
The kitchen is nicely stocked with servingware, pots, pans, dishes & paper towels and basic seasonings.
Many sitting areas in the garden. Laundry room ($3 a load). I have games, dvds, free weights, yoga mats etc that you can borrow.
Gas grill and fire pit area.
Interaction with guests
I live nearby and I am happy to give recommendations on where to go and how to get there. But I respect your privacy and do not intrude on your vacation.
You're in the middle of the city but you feel like you're out in the country.
You can use the bus system for local excursions but getting to tampa by bus is not a good idea. Try the jolly trolley $4.50 for an all day pass!
Pinellas bike trail minutes away!
The Hideout is surrounded by organic, permaculture style gardens. I often have chickens on the property and there is a bunny named Oreo (who pretty much runs the place) that will visit your patio looking for handouts. Feel free to use the sitting areas in the garden and move the chairs around if needed.
Casual & fun atmosphere. Earth first---we recycle, compost, upcycle, rain water harvesting and ongoing soil restoration projects
Free bike rentals--first come first serve!

Shelling is particularly good here, as the gulf currents deposit an incredible variety of seashells on the shore. Showers are available and the park´s concession has a gift shop and snack bar. 7.3 miles-drive, bike or take the bus.
Caladesi island-it is one of the few completely natural islands along florida´s gulf coast, caladesi´s white sand beaches were rated america's best beach in 2008. Gentle on the environment!
Hi, welcome to Florida! I'm as low key and easy going as it gets. I love nature and have a big garden filled with magical things. I also enjoy kayaking, art, books, theater, crafts and of course having fun with my family and friends.
My favorite vacation was a road trip out west with my camper and my dog. It lasted three months and I hiked all over Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. What scenery!
Being an host has been an amazing experience. I've enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people.
Vicki Conrad purchased this apartment in 2011
It reminds me of old time Florida. It is in the middle of the city but it feels like your out in the country. It close to a lot of fun things to do.
Large walk in shower, cute, vine covered patio. Gas stove! I love cooking on gas! Pet friendly free loaner bikes. Gas grill and fire pit area.
The place was very clean, very comfortable. The owner was just a phone call away and always answered and was super nice. My wife, daughter and I loved it. We recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a home away from home.
I have 6 guest houses on this property in 3 separate building. All are centered around an organic, mostly edible garden. There are lots of sitting areas and everyone has there own patio.
Clearwater Beach is a great city beach and Honeymoon Island is an awesome natural beach.
Downtown Dunedin is a must see! Tarpon Springs sponge docks is fun too.
