Beautiful landscaped 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located in popular family oriented Tidelands subdivision. Very relaxing, bright and cheerful home with great downstairs charcoal grill, picnic table, bar area, and porch swings for entertaining and relaxing. The upstairs deck has table and chairs for a sunrise coffee or breakfast.
Easy access to beach via walking, golf cart, or vehicle. Only a one block walk. Hire a golf cart for the week or the weekend or bring a wagon to tote your things down to the beach.
Small water park a few miles down the road. Large Grocery/Hardware store is about one mile away where you can buy anything from gourmet cheese to a bathing suit or over the counter medicines, No need to worry that you forgot something at home, between the Big Store and the Dollar Store, you can buy everything!
Several great restaurants are within a few miles. New at Crystal Beach for 2015 is Nail Salon and a Quick Medical Clinic.
Family area has Satellite TV, DVD, and Internet. Great coffee table that doubles as a game table with stools to play games or put together puzzles. Games, puzzles, and DVDs available for your enjoyment.
Great kitchen open to family area. Kitchen has all appliances, dishes, utensils, pots and pans you will need for your stay. Cook upstairs or grill on the built in charcoal grill downstairs. Bring your own linens or hire them to be brought and taken away for you. Washer and dryer also in kitchen.
Beds sleep 6 and 2 cots sleep 2 extra people. All bedrooms have satellite TVs.
Take the ferry and drive into Galveston for your choice of entertainment, museums, restaurants, shopping, and historical tours.
We purchased this lovely home for us to have a place to relax and enjoy in the US when we were living out of the country. We have recently moved back to Houston and are thrilled to be able to enjoy relaxing time here as a family. We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do!

This is the beach that I grew up going to and it is close to where our families live. We were excited to find a house in this subdivision where lots of our friends have cabins. The beach is a short walk away. Lots of restaurants are close and we can go into Galveston for the day to shop and explore. We love this location!
This is a beautiful, well kept home in a quieter neighborhood. Enjoy some days on the beach either sunning, fishing, building sandcastles or just watching the tide roll in. Then, you can drive in to Galveston and have fun being a tourist!
When we got to town to check in, the lady at ReMax let me know we'd love the property. Boy, did we! The property was clean and beautiful. The yard was well maintained, and the deck/porch area under the house is awesome! This small house has the best use of space I've ever had in a vacation rental, and we've been renting houses for vacation multiple times a year for a decade. There's a short walk to the beach which you'd think would deter from those wanting that "beachfront" experience, but for a family with younger children (ages 13,8,and 4 at the time) that 75 feet of distance is welcome when you're doing family activities and the beach is full (or even more at night when you and the fam are outside catching the ocean sounds and breeze and you don't have to see the random college kids on the beach). I think for a family, this is a perfect rental; if it wasn't a shame we'd go back this year. They provide menus and a list of resturants-really just an all around great location. Love, Love, LOVED it!
Only a 17 mile drive into Galveston via ferry! A newly added urgent care office, nail salon, and great places to shop!

One half of all charges (rental fee + 6% hotel tax + $35.00 processing fee + sanitation fee) will be required as a reservation deposit. The reservation deposit must be received within seven days of confirmation or a cancellation will automatically occur. The remaining charges and the damage deposit will be due upon check-in.
