About Bob & Erica
We enjoyed the Raystown area for many years which is why we purchased a property near the Lake. We also enjoy the home since it is located directly on the river which we can fish, canoe, kayak and tube right in our backyard.

Clean and Cozy Victorian
This was our second visit this year! We enjoyed everything about the house and the area. Would definitely go back again!
A nice stay on the Juniata.
Large comfortable home complete with many items and amenities. The owner provided great details about the home, area and local attractions. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and kayaking from Cypher to our backyard. The house was nicely furnished although it could use some updating.
Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
My family and I went here for a little family getaway and my kids absolutely loved it there! Raystown not far away spent time there fishing and enjoying the little beaches they have. I would recommend this house for away nice relaxing getaway!
Nice house not neighborhood
There a couple things we did not like, the traffic for one is absolutely awful, people fly down the road like animals we even saw a family of 4 all on a 4. Wheeler driving like crazy. I don't know if it's the people that lived there but I just think it's a disaster the way the people acted in the town. People were mad that we parked in front of the home, made a comment that the place is rented out all the time so we think we can park wherever, we parked right in front of the home and the neighbors right beside it apparently didn't like it. The water is also not good, has a bad smell and taste so thank god we had bottled water. The home itself was nice but the neighborhood and traffic would definitely not want us to stay there again.
Charming and spacious
The house was beautiful. My favorite place to be in was the kitchen. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer so I could come home with clean clothes. I also loves the master bedroom. The bed was a lo comfortable. All the charm space and even the firepit was great and to be able to fish. I want to go back. Actually never wanted to leave.
Bob and Erica were very nice hosts! Yes the home is older; but I loved the master bedroom, the dinning area and kitchen. My wife and I also loved the wrap around porch. We enjoyed being close to the river and the fire pit. Yes it is close to a bridge and road; but we had no problem sleeping or hearing a lot of traffic at night. I enjoyed the trail above the house and due to rain could not us the river for rafting. I was contacted by Bob and Erica before and after the trip and they were very helpful in adding to our vacation. I would recommend this home to use as a base to Raystown Lake or Bedford. Just understand it has well water and to bring you own drinking water and the water pressure is low upstairs. Had not problem with the air conditioner's and were comfortable the whole time.
