About the property

Lodge, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 16)

This is a bargain and simply one of the coolest homes in Queenstown, competitor houses charge 2-3 times more per night! ? it is close enough to town to enjoy the action but quiet enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We can add an additional lodge to cater for more than 10 guests so please ask for a competitive quote. (Coronet Lodge caters for 10 max)

This absolutely brand new beautiful lodge looks out to the stunning Shotover River and Bowen Peak mountains. Stunning mountain views, plenty of sunshine and gorgeous gardens all make for a truly memorable setting for your Queenstown holiday. The lodge has: entertainer?s kitchen, a 12 person french style table, separate media room and 3 Bdrms + 1 bunk room. We can also arrange a spa to relax your tired muscles after a long day skiing or adventuring...

The lodge is entirely built to the British Code so it?s really warm and comfortable. Ski racks and a drying room are included in Coronet Lodge. You can choose to accommodate 10 people in Coronet Lodge or up to 16 if you require additional rooms. We have really affordable rates for over 10 people when we add another lodge.

Each bedroom has amazing views of the mountains or garden, the bathrooms are luxurious and the house is always warm with under-floor heating, radiators and all day sun.

The property has its own large, fully contained garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture, a feature outside shower - perfect for entertaining and the kids to play in, and right next to a park - it has been created for groups and families. We even provide a library full of books and games to entertain the big and little kids...

Coronet Lodge sits on a reserve edge and is a 1 minute walk to a playground, the top of Coronet Peak ski field is less than 10 minutes away, and you can see the famous red Shotover Jet boats at the bottom of the hill. Great walks (that we can direct you too) and CORONET SKI FIELD,10 minutes drive away, including mountain biking 5 mins ride away.

Special conditions:

Please ask - we quote multiple room/guest options and DEALS for longer

stays. The only conditions we have: guests have a good time! WE make

our guests stays memorable and we get excited about helping people to

interact with all the great outdoor activities we have to offer. WE have

guided adventures for 10+ yrs in Queenstown and Stewart Island so we can

adventures from a great local walk to an extreme alpine climb.

The property is out of town and close to Arthurs Point and Shotover River which was the purpose of the week. However some of the facilitators also commented on good location out of town for bringing the family too. This response is reflective of a rural NZ'er who finds the hype of town too much.

The location of this property was perfect for our needs.

  • 4 of 5

The location of this property was perfect for our needs. Being 5 minutes drive from Queenstown was great, as we enjoyed the quiet of Arthur's Point rather than the busyness of QT itself. AS a family group of 14 people the two houses side by side were great.

We enjoyed our stay.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. Location is good. Kitchen-dining area is lovely. It was kid-friendly for our three young grandchildren. The house is situated in a pleasant but compact housing estate. It is very comfortable and warm. For our family-group of 9 it felt a full, especially in the mornings, when the 7 that did not have the en-suite bathroom, were queuing for the toilet, which is in the small main bathroom. Of course that wouldn?t be an issue for a smaller number of people.

Owner's Response: We have two bathrooms for guests to use so they could split themselves up between them. Both bathrooms are very highly speced and architecturally designed with beautiful details including an inbuilt bath looking up to the sky. There is also an outdoor shower for guests to use in the warmer months. We would expect queuing would not have been a problem if they split themselves between both bathrooms. We are located in a rural residential very highly sought after subdivision with fantastic views
