We met in college, Art school, at William Paterson University in Wayne New Jersey. Paul is a furniture maker and sculptor and has used his amazing talents to create personal touches to our home that will certainly wow you. Sharon is a potter and photographer and many of the pieces found in the house are original works she created. Together we teach high school art in North Jersey and yes we live and work together. We are best friends and that is what helps us to work so closely together. We currently live in Sussex County at the top of New Jersey. We love cross country skiing, cycling, making art and our Cape May home.
Sharon Pflug-Moench purchased this house in 2013
We love Cape May and have been vacationing there for 19 years. It truly has the most beautiful beaches on the Jersey Shore and once you are in Cape May there is so much to do that there is no reason to leave. We have always been drawn to old homes with charm and this house definitely has that. We also love the location of our home as we are close to everything but far enough away to enjoy the quiet when you want leave and relax.
Sharon's home is charming. The attention to detail as far as the beach decor and ammenities go was much appreciated. It was the perfect location as my sister and I split our time between the beach, shops, and restaurants of Cape May and participated in an event at Hawk Haven winery. I was able to reach Sharon easily if need be, and she was always extremely kind via phone or text message. She made herself available and made sure I was taken care of. The beach gear and beach box made things easy and convenient for us. We really had a great time and would return again in the future.
Cape May is the oldest seaside on the Jersey Shore. While not in the ocean or on the beach, visitors can spend time in Cape May exploring nature trails, whale and dolphin watching, taking Victorian house or ghost tours, golfing (real and miniature) , fishing (surf and sea), antiquing or visiting art galleries and history exhibits. Visitors can get a spa treatment, take in live theatre and concerts, stop by a vineyard for wine tasting, take a carriage ride, play skeeball in the arcades and even bar hop.
