This is a one-bedroom place near the Montparnasse tower.
My wife requested two things: Safe and clean. The apartment was both.
When we arrived, the apartment had a musty smell, which is typical of older buildings and reminded me of my old San Francisco apartment. Within a few minutes with the windows open, the musty smell was gone. The bathroom is fine and it has a washing machine. It's relatively quiet at night. The TV required a couple of remotes to operate so we didn't use it much. In the photos, the sofa looks like it becomes two beds but is actually one pull-out bed. I was hoping for two beds so my daughter and mother-in-law didn't have to share the bed.
One odd thing was I was told if I lost the only key, it would be a 500 euro charge. Ouch! I made sure I didn't lose it, but if I was the owner, I would consider installing a new electronic door lock that doesn't require a key.
The apartment was fine overall and good for the price. It's about a 30-minute walk either to Notre Dame or the Eiffel Tower. Since my wife and I love walking in Paris, it's not a problem. For older people, that might be a walk too far.
Our family's stay in this apartment was a very good experience. Comfortable and clean apartment with everything you need (kitchen and utensils, sheets and towels, wifi and TV). The location is extremely central the Metro being just being a short walk away.. The apartment building is quiet and highly secured. Friendly and accommodating personnel who met our every need. A great spot indeed!
Excellent rental property located in a secure building with a nice little courtyard. Great location on a one-way street so not too much traffic noise. The interior is fresh and clean. Comfy bed, bedside lamps for reading and a little wardrobe for storing clothes in the bedroom. Space in living room is well designed for lounging. Kitchen is all equipped but we didn't actually use it between eating sweets for breakfast, crepes for lunch and going out for dinner at night. Bathroom was small but the space is optimized for a good experience. Close to the Metro and in easy walking distance to loads of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants by the Bon Marche and rue de Renes. Elizabeth was an excellent contact and readily available to answer our questions from how to arrive to the flat to how to use the TV. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I found the apartment to be better than the photos depicted. It was our first trip to Paris and wanted a good location to get around to
all the city has to offer. The apartment was bright, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was functional and had all the essentials for meals. Bed comfy
and quiet building. . It was just right for the two of us. Groceries close, cafe and plenty of eating options in walking distance. Metro very easy walk and
perfect way to get around. All arrangements went smoothly to get into the apartment. We even figured out the wash machine!
Why not 5 stars?? Our only issue was the lighting in the bathroom. Shaving was a challenge. Makeup application had to be done in the kitchen on the island,
which worked out fine---great natural light!
Would we stay again? YES. Would we recommend it to others? YES. We met friends in the Latin Quarter and their hotel room was tiny compared to this
apartment, for more money. We were pleasantly surprised.

We had a great time staying at Paul' s St. Jermain apartment! His efficient care with everything needed was exellent! The flat is on the best part in Paris, le 6me. We recommend it very much, we surely return to one of his neat apartments in Paris or London next time!
Super experience, 100% recommended! Paul and his assistant were very helpful and were quick in responding to my messages.
The apartment is clean, stylish, well kept and very quiet for being in the heart of Paris (little tip: close the shutters on the outside of the bedroom when you sleep for extra quiet). There's enough space for 4, and plenty of storage space with many closets and cupboards.
The Boulevard Montparnasse is just round the corner (many bistros, restaurants, cafes, shopping etc.), close to the Metro station (Montparnasse-Bienvenue). If you walk down the charming rue du Bac you can reach the Louvre, Tuileries, d'Orsay, etc. Following the Boulevard Montparnasse wil lead you to the Invalides. The next time I come to Paris I would stay here without hesitation if it is available.
