New 3 bedroom home with tropical accents, located at the Romanic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, close to the famous beach “Playa de los Muertos”. This exquisite home has it all: Town and bay views, large sundeck, pool, gourmet kitchen, A/C throughout, indoor garage. Beautifully furnished , this house has left little unfinished. Located in the Old Town zone, it is within walking distance to hundreds of restaurants and shops. On a quiet street, you can sit and relax while looking out over the city and the ocean bay about 10 blocks away. Transportation is available a short walk 3 blocks away on the famous Calle Basilio Badillo and typically available around the clock. Note the house is up the hill a bit which does provide a beautiful view but also means that the street is steep for the first block if walking. If you know Puerto Vallarta at all, this is pretty common as the hills are one of the attractions. For those that drive, you have your own fully secure garage for parking but taxis are cheap and will bring you right to your door. Puerto Vallarta is simply a vibrant and safe place with things to do for all ages. We love it and think you will to.

Over-sized terrace: Includes tables and chairs for more living space and private pool with newly installed (2015) over sized solar heating with guest adjustable temp. This home has been built to become one with the outdoors. When the glass walls are retracted living/dining area merges seamlessly with the courtyard giving you that outside feel even when indoor.

Kitchen with breakfast bar: Full equipped with gas range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, purified water, dishwasher, wine fridge and full size fridge with icemaker and potable water. Includes all of the utensils and tools you would expect at home.

Dining room: Equipped with a glass top table and offers comfortable seating for 6.

Living room: Total comfort on 2 large couches, 42' flat screen TV, English channels, wireless phone for local calls. Wireless internet with solid signal throughout the house.

Master suite: Oversized master bedroom, flat screen TV, floor to ceiling windows with bay and town views, private terrace with seating for 2 . Separate shower and master bath, walk-in closet, safe, iPod/Phone docking station. Pour a glass of wine, turn on the jets and take in the city/ocean views from the double Jacuzzi tub.

Guest suites 1 and 2: One with a king, the other with 2 individual beds that can be pushed together, full bathroom with luxury glass tiles showers and iPhone/Pod docking stations. Large glass patio doors ensure the entire room can be opened to their own ocean breezes.

To ensure you can find the latest attractions in PV we include a computer as well as a laser printer/scanner for your use. The entire house has wireless access recently upgraded to ensure superior coverage everywhere. Work or play, we have a dedicated internet service to ensure quality service with speed typically between 5-10mbps. This was an important feature personally for us as we use this to work abroad. We have plenty of bandwidth at low latency dedicated for your use only. Internet video and phone service or remote access is very good should you need it.

Secure attached garage with remote control. Secure front keyless entry to house and yard. No keys needed, no keys to loose. Provide us with a code before you leave and have immediate access without upon your arrive to PV. No check in hassles. Pet friendly and secure front yard. I know our two dogs love it.

Laundry room: With modern front loading washer and dryer. Detergent provided.

As well, we wanted a place that was quiet and gave us security but was designed to give an open air living feel. We wanted that indoor/outdoor feel 24 hours a day and this was the place. After all, you come for the beautiful weather and this place makes your feel like you are outside even when inside. As often my vacations are working vacations, this place has plenty of room to discreetly set up an office and very good internet. My wife has small dogs and we wish to travel with them more. With the secure front court yard, we are able to walk them at night with no issues or simply leave the door open and they can access it on their own. The previous owners and builders were meticulous in the construction and this home is hard to describe in words. We just fell in love with the open layout. It feels like you are in a 5 star hotel.

About Phil and Sally

We have one son and two small dogs. Our son is old enough he is on his own, but our dogs miss us too much when we travel and we decided maybe they need some time away as well. For years we traveled in the Americas when we could get away from work. From Panama to the States we have found many great places, but ended up in Puerto Vallarta. We just fell in love with the community. Direct flights from most locations in US and Canada help to. We hope to be in Puerto Vallarta at least a few months of every year to relax, make new friends and learn the language. Knowing the meaning of cerveza is not enough anymore. =)

What makes this house unique

Puerto Vallarta and in particular, the Romantic Zone is simply a vibrant place year around. We traveled many locations in the Americas and fell in love with this part of the world. The city is large enough that it has all the amenities you could want but small enough that it is very personable. We always feel safe in any location whether we are walking or driving and quaint restaurants and shops are everywhere. For those that love the ocean, beaches of every size and style litter the coast. A beautiful bay and marina mean fishing and charters are available year round. We think you will love it as there is something for people of all ages. Nearness to the Romantic zone was important but we are far enough away to avoid the noise. This place is a quiet oasis. Local markets spring up all the time and Mexican markets are close by. Impromptu parades and events happen year around. If you are not familiar with Puerto Vallarta, it also hosts very modern amenities like Wall Mart, Sams Club, and Costco to name a few. They are not in Old Town but a short 10-15 minute ride away. A short walk away you can take a local bus for 75 cents to almost any location. Taxis will pick you up right at the house if you call or easier yet, walk a couple of blocks and typically one will show up within a minute. Please note this house is about 3 blocks off the main road of Calle Basilio Badillo where most of the taxis operate 24 hours a day.

This beautifully styled and modern house is ideally situated in a quiet area but is only minutes away by foot or taxi from all the activities. Enjoy the local Mexican markets with its fresh fish caught only that morning or just relax and watch the sunset over the ocean from your room. Puerto Vallarta has just simple too many attractions to list.

We had a great vacation at this property, it was awesome having a property manager there to help with getting food and general questions answered. The rooms were all very nice and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Excellent in every aspect!

The house is spectacular! Every modern convenience, beautiful design, secured parking. Excellent for relaxation and hosting friends for cocktails or a pool party. Sally and Phil have thought of everything. Gourmet kitchen, friendly staff who attend to the pool and property. And most importantly the location is easy to get around town from and 100% safe and secure. This house is beyond your hopes and dreams. High end finishings from top to bottom and a gourmet kitchen. I loved this house so much I am renting it again. Sally & Phil are excellent at communicating and personally called to welcome me upon arrival. I will never stay anywhere else in Vallarta. Many thanks Phil & Sally, I appreciate you sharing this gorgeous place with us.

Luxury living!

Location of this spacious, luxurious home doesn't get any better in old town, PV. It's walking distance to the restaurants, bars, shops, & the most beautiful beach in the area. Yes, a bit of a hill to climb heading back home, but after all the great cuisine & beverages you'll find all over the area, you might be thankful for the bit of extra exercise. The home itself is beautifully decorated & is very spacious & well equipped. You will have your own pool & laundry room too. The property manager & the owners are so great to deal with. It's a great home in a great location! Can't wait to go back!!

If you are looking for a comfortable home in Centro Puerto Vallarta, with great views, your own pool and close walking distance to everything, you have found the right house. The kitchen is well stocked. Furniture is comfortable. The pool refreshing. We are looking forward to coming back to this home very soon!

Nice house in a vibrant area

My family of 3 rented this house for one week in March of 2016. The house is very nice and also quite spacious. Everything seemed in very good working order inside the house and the kitchen was well equipped. It is within walking distance to many locations - many wonderful dining options are nearby and it is only about 10 to 15 minutes from the beach or the city center itself. I highly recommend trying both Marisma's Fish Taco's (am to afternoon hours) on Calle Naranja as well as Pancho's Takos on Badillio Basilo. Both these places were great and we visited each of them multiple times. As most reviewers have said, the hill you have to climb is extremely steep. This was not a problem for us, but I imagine it would be for anyone with bad knees, older people or anyone who doesn't enjoy some exercise. The only complaint I had was the wording of the listing says the house has a "private pool with newly installed (2015) over sized solar heating with guest adjustable temp". While it is true that there is a pool and it is heated, the guest has no power to control or adjust the temperature of the pool. For the first half of our week the pool was too cold for our tastes, but it improved as the week went on. This was a disappointment to me as the private pool was the big draw for us to rent this house, not using it for half the week kind of seemed like not having it. Other than that, everything was excellent.
