The condo is recently remodeled with brand-new tile floors, fresh white paint, 65 inch TV in living room with cable, granite countertops and backsplash in kitchen, all new furniture, new outdoor furniture on terrace and private rooftop terrace, and best of all - brand new pillow top queen mattress in both bedrooms!!! All of this was done in May 2015.

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. There is a private terrace overlooking the beautiful private courtyard with a gorgeous pool surrounded by lush landscape!

The rooftop terrace is completely private with a table with 4 chairs and a barbecue grill for your use!

We like the North end of Playa, so this was a great location for us. The "pros" of this location include:

- great access to the beach and 5th and 10th Avenues

- close to the stadium for early morning workouts/track use

- nice-sized deck

- lovely clean pool/garden courtyard area - a great place to refresh after the beach and gather with other tenants

- Tony was responsive any time we had to contact him

- the two bathrooms are great to have in any space!

Great location!

Condo was in a great location, well equipped but would have like in suite laundry and some beach chairs.

Bar across the street could be noisy for some people but we did not mind.

Great location, new apartment

Tony's apartment is literally in the center where all shops and restaurants are. We enjoyed walking at nights with kids. Parking and checking is was so easy. Complex and apartment is new. Spacious balcony for your meals and enjoyment. Swimming pool is small with no furniture, but was great for kids to play. One bedroom is exposed to little or sometimes more noise at nights if you are a light sleeper. He was kind to leave 20L drinking water, too many towels including beach towels. The listing mentioned washing mashine but there was not, it would be a 'good to have'. Tony himself was also very responsibe to my messages before and during our stay.

Lovely and convenient

The condo was everything we expected. A lovely courtyard view from our terrace was especially nice. All our questions were answered and all of our needs were met cheerfully and quickly. The noise from the night club across the street seemed to go on every night but Monday... bring earplugs! Maybe some carpeting at thicker curtains in the street side bedroom would help absorb some noise? We were disappointed that the grills on the upstairs deck were not functional.

The property is just what we could imagine!

This place is amazing!! Tony was very attentive and maintained communication throughout our stay. Any thing we needed, it was taken care of immediately! The room facing the street could have music from across the street, but we didn't mind it and it didn't play past midnight. Laundry service around the corner, great restaurants, bars, and stores within walking distance-this place was just wonderful and I highly recommend it! Thank you, Tony! Looking forward to coming back to La Coccinella!

Beautiful! Awesome location! Owner answers quick!

Just came back from my trip and I can only say that this place is stunning! Very affordable and youre getting a great place with a parking spot. Very secured. I did not see management but they did stopped by (I was out and about). I had a small minor issue but Tony, the owner was extremely prompt at resolving it. I highly recommend you to buy a portable, rechargeable, cheap phone as soon as you can through AT&T or Telcell because I couldn't call management due to my US phone service provider, so l relied on facebook apps and regular email to communicate with both owner and management company. Or if you have an unlocked phone, buy just the SM card. Both are very cheap (about 200 pesos for card or 800 for phone with data and minutes). Just in case you run into any problems. I highly recommend anyone that is going to book this place to make sure you get your welcome email with all the information on how to access the property upon the full payment of the condo. Also, you do have assigned parking. Its the second from the left. The beds are super comfortable. The only review I read before I booked it said that there was noise but I didnt hear anything. Slept like a baby. We walked everywhere. This place is perfect for 2 couples, or 2 singles if they each want their room, or for a family of four. If you stay at a hotel (decent), you are looking at paying around $100/night for 1 room. Here you get 2, so for us, it was half of that. I cannot recommend this enough. I already notified my friends and family. Definitely will rent it again if I go back to Playa!!!

Great Combination

This was our first visit to Playa and I did a TON of research before finally deciding on this unit. It ended up being a very good choice for our needs. Just a block from the beach and 1/2 block off 5th Ave. Our college-aged daughters stayed part of the time with us and I was nervous about safety, especially late at night. Being right off 5th Ave was nice as they could take that street all the way home at night from pretty much any venue. Everything was clean and in good working condition when we arrived. We needed an extra key for our daughters and the management rep delivered one the next day. WiFi was solid. Beds very comfortable. Smart TV in living room with Netflix so I could get my "House of Cards" fix a few nights! Tons of clean towels. Fridge and stove made it easy to have breakfast and lunch in the condo when we wanted. Nice and quiet throughout the day. Pool was always clean. As others mentioned, bar across the street is a bit loud at night, but that comes with being so close to the action on 5th Ave. Overall we were very pleased with our choice and, after three weeks, it started to feel like home and we weren't ready to leave.
