Aina Nalu is situated in the heart of Historic Lahaina Town on 9 acres of lush tropical gardens. Our unit (D-206) is in a prime location with easy acess to both pools, jacuzzi, bbq's, and cabanas. It is a second floor unit with vaulted ceilings and no noise from above. It looks out over lush gardens and a small quiet pool. This unit has one bedroom with a King bed. There is a Double pullout couch in the living room. This unit has been newly remodeled with a large bathroom that has a slate step in shower. A/C and ceiling fans in all rooms. 2 flat screen TVs a DVD and W/D. Hair dryer, Ice Chest., Beach Towels. There is also WiFi access in the unit as well as anywhere on the property. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the unit and a grocery store only 3 blocks away.

One of the best features of our unit is where it is located. We are only 2 blocks from world famous restaurants, art galleries, shopping, public transportation, and Lahaina Harbor. When you stay in our unit, there is no need to rent a car because everything you need is within walking distance. Lahaina Harbor boasts a variety of activities such as surfing, fishing charters, dinner cruises, whale watching, ferries to Lanai or Molokai and snorkel trips.

The Aina Nalu property was built in 1980 (remodeled in 2005) and is a favorite place of people that return to Maui frequently. Because there is no building on the property over 2 stories, it has a very intimate feel. The Hawaiian ambiance and quiet laid back feel bring people back year after year.

Our names are Gerry and Sara Clark. We have lived and worked in Lahaina for over 27 years. Sara is from Indiana and Gerry is from San Diego. We both came to Maui for the year long perfect weather and the laid back lifestyle. We both love playing in the ocean, riding our mountain/road bikes, and running through the cane fields.

We both love living the small town lifestyle, where you can access all your needs by walking or riding a cruiser bike. We run into people we know throught our day which helps to create a strong caring community.

Sara was a concierge for many years and loves to help people make the most out of their vacation. You are welcome to e-mail us with any questions you might have.

Why sara and gerry clark chose Maui

We live one block from our unit and purchased at Aina Nalu to house our family and friends when they visit. Since we live only one block from condo, any issues that arise are immediately addressed. Aina Nalu is also the only Resort Condo in Lahaina Town and its convenient location and ammenities makes it a desirable property and a wonderfull place to stay.

What makes this condo unique

Our unit is unique in the fact that we have been long time Maui residents and live one block away. We are able to address any questions or issues in a timely manner and in person. It is also an upstairs unit, which has no foottraffic from above and is in a quiet location.

Because of our central location, there is no need to rent a vehicle. Imagine being able to walk to one of the many casual or fine dining restaurants, enjoy a cocktail, and not have to worry about driving back to your condo.

We love Lahaina in the mornings and often walk to the beach to watch the sun come up over the mountains and then stop to get coffee at a small cafe on the way home.

By staying in Lahaina Town you will get to experience the 'real' Maui.

Great central location. clean, cozy and comfy.

We stay at Aina Nalu every Halloween because it's one street up from where the festivities are. This unit was the first privately owned one that we stayed in. The unit was nice and clean. Sara and Gerry were very accomodating and easy to work with.

A good location for staying in town.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay in Lahaina at this Aina Nalu condo. It was a different experience not staying next to a beach but it was fun to be able to walk into town (it's only 3 or 4 blocks) for shopping and eating out. The facility has 2 nice pools, one which has lawn right up to the edge of the pool. This is different than I've seen before but it was a nice pool with lounges around it and a nice open air sitting area next to it with a TV that you could watch sports, etc. while being near the pool. The smaller pool has BBQ gas grills by it for outside grilling. The condo itself had a nice bed and a large new shower. The TV remote doesn't change the channels in the bedroom so you have to get out of bed to manually go through the channels. The TV remote in the living room works. The bathroom was very nice but they do need a new chain on the toilet flapper valve as it keeps getting caught on the flush arm and the toilet keeps running (that would be an easy fix). The sink drain plug is not connected to the lift control ball rod so I had to use a wash cloth so I could block the drain to safely clean my contact lenses (not a big deal). The unit doesn't have a lanai for sitting outside, I kind of missed that but not a big deal. Parking is an issue if you don't want to pay $20 per day for parking. A lot across the street is $15 and street parking is free but you have to be persistent and/or lucky to get street parking every day. The AC worked well and the kitchen had a few spices and condiments for cooking. It could use a few more juice glasses but we managed with just 2 of us. Over all this was a good unit to stay in. It is clean and in good condition and the whole facility was well kept. I would recommend it and consider staying there again in the future.

Owner's Response: Mahalo for your detailed review. Eventhough we walk thru the condo frequently, we don't use the facilities. It is nice to have a guest who brings small issues to our attention so that we can fix them. We installed a brand new toilet and have replaced the remote control in the bedroom. Unfortunately, as owners we do not own the parking lot. The developer of the property kept the rights to the parking lot, so we have no control of fees to park. Hope to have you stay with us again!

Wonderful stay at Aina Nalu

We had an amazing time at this unit. It's centrally located, minutes away from front street, restaurants, cute shops, & short walk to the grocery store. We even enjoyed the food trucks a block away. We were also in love with the pool. The unit is fully equipped and spacious. There was a lot of room for our little one to crawl and we cooked a lot of our meals. We will definitely be back.

Amazing spot!

The condo was awesome. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Front Street and the water. The pool and jacuzzi are great and relaxing. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to check in as soon as it was clean which worked out perfectly. Any messages sent to Sara were replied to immediately. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. And hopefully return again soon! Thank you!

Very very nice and wanted to stay longer.

We had a very nice time here and the property and apartment was fabulous, not to mention the pools. I would definitely stay here again and book for a bit longer.

Location and comfort

We loved the convenience of this property. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Very quite even though it's just a few blocks from Front Street. And plenty of space for a couple!
