About the property

Spacious villa well situated at short walking distance from thermal spas, numerous restaurants and center of San Juan Cosalá. Bus stop and cycle track are very close. Go walking on the beach up to the malecon admiring the landscape, the water birds and the horses. Observe the fishermen in their return from work.

No need for a car. It will cost you $0,60 by bus or $6,00 by taxi to go to Ajijic, in the East or to Jocotepec, on the West.

The villa contains a first bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. A second bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. A vast laundry where we also find an desk and a single bed. An office with desk, three place couch, television and high speed WiFi internet. A lounge with wood fireplace music and satellite television in French and in English, three place, two place and single couches. A vast dining room giving onto the terrace and the fantastic view over the lake Chapala and the mount Garcia. A fully-equipped kitchen with gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven toaster, blender, microwave oven, toaster, drip coffee maker, citrus juicer, hand blender, juice extractor and hand mixer.

Outdoors, a 60 sq.m.covered terrace with table to have dinner, gas grill and access to the landscaped garden and the 52 sq.m. solar heated swimming pool.

Spacieuse villa bien située à courte distance à pied des stations thermales, de nombreux restaurants et du centre de San Juan Cosalá. Arrêt d'autobus et piste cyclable ne sont qu'à deux pas. Prenez une marche sur la plage jusqu'au malecon en admirant le paysage, les oiseaux aquatiques et les chevaux. Observez les pêcheurs à leur retour du travail.

Une cuisine tout équipée avec cuisinière au gas, réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle, four grille-pain, four à micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière-filtre, presse-agrume, mélangeur à main, batteur à main, extracteur de jus et mélangeur.

A l'extérieur, une terrasse couverte de 60 m.c. avec table à dîner, grill au gas et vue sur le jardin paysagé et la piscine de 52 m.c. chauffée à l'aide de panneaux solaires disposés sur le toit.

Exceptional views and pool

The property was as described-spacious, plenty of room for up to five to sleep and comfortable. The view was stunning and could be enjoyed from the large veranda. The pool is quite large and generally well maintained. It's warmed by solar and was always over 80 degrees.

The owner responded quickly when we had a question through email and left good instructions for using the appliances and water system. There was also a gardener who came twice a week and responded whenever we had a problem.

The bus stop is nearby and we did not have a car so we found it convenient to take buses and taxis into Ajijic but our favorite restaurant was very close by-Viva Mexico as was the Tuesday organic market and the quirky graveyard-all worth seeing.

The kitchen is mostly well supplied with very basic dishes and other tableware. Linens and outdoor furniture were a bit shabby. The washer and dryer, internet connection, showers and stove all worked well.

Overall, it is a very comfortable holiday destination and mostly quite quiet and completely secure.

Owner's Response: My wife Louise and I are doing our best to provide a nice experience to our renters. Before to settle down in Mexico, we used to rent houses for vacation in Canada, USA, Mexico and the Carribeans. We know what is necessary for a comfortable stay. And we know what can be called ''a view''. That's also why we opted for an absolutely all inclusive rate. This winter we'll renew some furniture and linen and continue to maintain this beautiful villa.
