House includes all linens and towels, a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

Great Harbour Cay is surprisingly tranquil and non-touristy considering it's close proximity to South Florida. Only 120 miles East of Miami. There are direct flights from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. There are also 2 flights daily from Nassau (only 20 minutes!) Le Air Phone # 242-322-1317, one at 7:30 am and one at 5:20 pm.
Great Harbour Cay also boasts many activities, unparalleled in the Bahamas: fabulous fishing- both deep water and bone fishing, shell collecting, snorkeling, diving, golf, tennis, island hopping, and island exploring, just to name a few.
There are several restaurants with native cuisine and international fare, small shops, grocery stores, and even a medical clinic on the island. Car, golf cart and jeep and boat rentals are available.
No bank in the Island, so please bring cash.

Very nice property on an absolutely beautiful beach that feels like you own personnel beach.
Beautifully built house on a perfect piece of property. We cooked indoors and out every night for two weeks and found everything we needed.
Thank you I love that my guess feel at home and enjoy. Please come back
If you’re looking for beaches full of people and a nightly party scene, this island is not for you. If you want to get away from it all immersed in the unspoiled beauty of the Caribbean, Great Harbour Cay is just the place; and Casa Marina is the perfect spot to experience this unique island.
At Casa Marina you’ll have the comfort of a beautifully appointed beach-front home with all the amenities and more. It is a great location for getting around the island (there is a vehicle available for that) and its location on the beach is one of the best you can get on the entire island. The view is spectacular, and you are steps from what feels like a private sand beach with fantastic swimming. Even though the house is great inside - outside on the deck and the large beach platform is where you’ll probably spend most of your time. The gin-clear water is shallow a long way out with a white sand bottom - great for kids to enjoy.
Great Harbour Cay offers the unusual combination of stunning natural beauty and the feeling that you practically have the island to yourself. Walk on the white sand beach and hardly see another person...explore the many smaller cays in the area and feel like you’re the first person to have discovered it...and there are numerous activities to enjoy, many listed in the other reviews. These end up being more intimate experiences to remember rather than touristy cattle calls - that is the nature of this special place.
This was our 5th trip to GHC, and our 3rd stay at Casa Marina. In just a few days here you’ll start to feel like a part of the island. The locals and beach home owners here are wonderfully welcoming. Give the adventure of GHC at Casa Marina a try - most likely you’ll make new friends here and end up returning many times, like we have!
Wow what a nice review. But all you describe is the truth . Please keep coming back to Casa Marina. You are always welcome.!!!!!
A rare Gem!
If you want to decompress this is the place. I loved it ! The house is as nice as it looks and very comfortable. It remindes me of T+C 30 years ago. The beach is great but I suggest some sandals to get over the rocks to the sand. The terrace is where I spent all my time. I enjoyed it so much I’ve already made reservations for next year. Also, I’m an avid golfer and did not take my clubs ‘even though there’s a 9 hole course] . Best decision I ever made. Relax!!
BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING
This was our 4th time in Great Harbor Cay but the first at Casa Marina. We had the pleasure of meeting Isabel (owner) the last time we were on the island and gave us a tour of Casa Marina. The house is beautiful, right on beach and views of the turquoise water are amazing. Lyndell, the housekeeper was terrific in giving us additional information about Thursday night pizza at marina (place order early!) and fresh conch salad made almost daily at marina (the best!) and if we had any questions about house etc. she was always there. We rented the Kawasaki Mule and it took us every where. Bought fish, crab claws and lobsters from marina also and they were delicious. The people at Great Harbor Cay are so friendly and welcoming. Isabel is extremely wonderful to work with. Nothing was to much trouble for her. The island is very laid back and unspoiled. Did bring some food with us and cooked in while having a glass of wine and enjoying the spectacular views of water and cruise ships in distance. Great food at Pool Bar, Beach Club, and Coolie May's. Even brought 3 loaves of her bread home with us! Would definitely recommend Casa Marina and plan on going back again
Friendliest people on earth!
Casa Marina is a delightful home - elegant and comfortable. The owner is easy to work with and very helpful and kind. The staff is helpful and friendly. The house is located right on the water. Depending on the weather and tide, there is a lovely little beach just steps from the back of the house. It is somewhat isolated but close enough to get anywhere on the island in a matter of minutes. Our family has celebrated NYE (our wedding anniversary) at this lovely property for the past two years and we are going back again this year. Don't miss going to church with Circle and Elorn, the Tamboo Club on NYE, bone fishing with Percy, charter fishing with Joe, and especially a boat trip with Kenny who spears fish and lobster, dives for conch and cooks it all up on a deserted beach where you eat the finest lobster with your hands, fresh out of the water. We come from Texas and Massachusetts and meet up in Nassau for a couple of days to enjoy the Christmas Junkanoo and stock up on groceries. Then we hop on LE Air for the 20 minute flight to GHC and a couple of weeks of family time. Isabel has a well-stocked kitchen including an icemaker which came in handy for frozen drinks to sip on the spectacular wraparound porch. When we arrived last year, the lights were out due to a generator being out on the island so no one had power but the caretaker was kind and welcomed us with lanterns and candles which just added to the atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing that you could want that the resourceful, helpful locals won't deliver right to your door. Everyone knows everyone and you feel entirely safe sleeping with the doors unlocked. Our local friends drop by for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening, and we sit on the porch and watch the dolphins and the occasional shark in the distance as the ships pass by in a steady parade. Kenny is a fabulous tour guide and he will take you out for the day in his boat or you can rent a boat and he will be your tour director. He knows the water and weather and has friends on all the surrounding cays who welcomed us with open arms at every stop. Most of our days were spent on the water. We would plan our day each morning and Kenny would make all the necessary arrangements and then he would cook our catch for us in the evening. On our last day, he even prepared and packaged lobster to freeze and take home with us. Can't wait to get back there again to see our friends and enjoy the peace of GHC.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Casa Marina. Isabel was wonderful -- very welcoming, and responsive to our requests and many questions. She was professional and easy to work with. Lyndell, Isabel's house keeper, was there to meet us when we arrived, and gave us a good introduction to the house. Casa Marina itself is beautiful. It is well stocked and very clean. The location is excellent. We took many long walks on the stunning beach in front of Casa Marina, and often saw no one else or just a few people. Great Harbour Cay is unspoiled and largely undiscovered. There are great beaches (e.g. Shelling) to explore, and the ruins of the old Sugar Beach Hotel are worth a visit. We flew Tropic Ocean Airways from FLL, and brought some food of our own, though we also ate out. The gas grill at Casa Marina was great. We rented Isabel's Kawasaki Mule for the week, and that was good to have for getting around the Island. If you're from the US, you have to get used to driving on the left -- but there's so little traffic, it's not stressful. We had good breakfasts and lunches at the new Beach Club, and also went for the Fish Fry at the Beach Club. For dinner, in addition to cooking at the house, we had a great meal at CarriEarl and at Collie Mae's. Each morning, we also ordered a loaf of fresh bread from Collie Mae, which would be ready in the early afternoon. It is easy to really relax at Casa Marina, and to let it all go. We look forward to coming back.
