If you have never stayed in a New Orleans shotgun , NOW is your chance ! This classic-New Orleans style house known as a 'shotgun' was built around the turn-of-the century and was very popular in the city. Living and dining rooms in the front of the house with the kitchen in the rear.very high ceilings (12 feet) with hardwood floors and ceiling fans along with central a/c (an amenity that was added years later. This house was updated for modern-day living. Steps from the Canal streetcar line so you can be downtown or the French Quarter in 15-20 minutes. You can also transfer to the St. Charles ave. streetcar and travel uptown/garden district or Carrollton ave. There are several great restaurants within walking is stance of the house which is very convenient. If you would rather stay home and have a meal there are groceries close by and you have the use of a full kitchen !! Two bedroom, one has a queen bed and another has a full. There is a shared hall bath between the two bedrooms.

What a great experience to stay in a traditional New Orleans Shotgun house. This house is decorated so cute and the location couldn't be better. We walked to the corner and caught the streetcar to go downtown/French Quarter daily. Walked a half block to Katie's restaurant or a block to Liuzza's or a block in the other direction to Mandina's......all fabulous New Orleans local digs! Just Fantastiv
Location was great. House was great. Shower was the best! Entry into the home was easy and the neighbors were friendly. We loved it.
My fiancé and two friends had a great stay here. I would definitely go back to this house because of the look and feel of the home, the location and restaurant.
This was my first time renting a house and I'm so happy it went so well. The house was very pretty and safe. Across the street there is Katie's which was an awesome restaurant. Went for dinner on Saturday and had to go back for brunch on Sunday. It's popular so expect a wait for brunch, but no worries, put your name down while you finish getting ready since you are just a few steps away. The neighbors were very pleasant. The apartment creeks but It didn't bother us much. The bathroom was very well stocked with paper and towels. The place was very peaceful, which was a nice change in comparison to the busy French quarter. You walk to the corner and cross the street for the street car, which is very convenient and perfect distance where you don't hear it passing.
The Trolley Stop was the perfect house for our stay during Jazz Fest. Very clean, easy to hop on the trolley, great breakfast spot down the street and we could walk to the fairgrounds. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit New Orleans looking for a quieter place to stay but still close to everything!
Tons of Restaurants within a 6 block radius (walking distance). Downtown/CBD/French Quarter is a 15 minute streetcar ride away. Easy access to all parts of the city. Great nightlife, shopping and tourist attractions. Wonderful architecture and sightseeing activities.
