La Manga Club is situated 100km south of Alicante on Spain's Costa Calida. The resort itself has three 18-hole golf courses, a tennis complex, and a host of other sporting activities, restaurants, and shops. Many other activities are available in the immediate vicinity, including a growing number of golf courses, water sports, and horse riding.
La Manga Club is a very safe gated community, so perfect for families. The apartment is situated in the central Bellaluz pueblo, within a few yards of the supermarket, restaurants, and a large pool complex. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms (one double, one twin, sleeping four), one with a balcony. A pull-out bed and baby cot are also provided. One bathroom, separate kitchen, and large dining room/lounge with French windows leading onto a second sunny balcony. Electricity, including air conditioning, heating, cleaning, linen, bath and beach towels are included in the price.

Nigel comes from Ilfracombe and I come from Carlisle. We've lived abroad for 26 years now; first in Italy and then in Germany. We now live and work in Grenoble, France. We've rented our apartment since we bought in 1998. Over the years we have renovated and now feel that our apartment is a perfect base from which to explore La Manga Club and the surrounding area.

We bought in Bellaluz as it is very family friendly. At the time of buying our daughter was eight years old and we have had many memorable family holidays on The Club at different times of the year.
We heard about La Manga Club through friends who golf
who had visited La Manga on several occasions with their children. They had a great time!
We love it just as much now as we did when we bought. We have visited at diferent times of the year and enjoyed the area on each occasion.
Nigel plays golf and cycles and I horse ride, so with the three golf courses, superb cycling terrain and two riding schools nearby we are spoilt for choice. We have one daughter so the second bedroom is ideal for her and a friend.
The pool area is fabulous. We think it's the best on La Manga Club. Also the Plaza just round the corner is great for parents with children as you can go out in a safe environment and really enjoy the bars, restaurants and free entertainment in the summer season. All in all a great place to have a holiday home and we feel very lucky that we have managed to keep it.
A lovely bright modern apartment that is well equipped and close to all the amenities within Bellaluz. With 3 teenage sons to keep happy I think it says it all that we have returned each year and have already booked to go back in 2014. The owners and agents are easy to deal with and all arrangements when booking and on arrival in resort have been perfect each time.
We would happily recommend to friends and family.
This apartment is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, well equipped and could not have been in a better location, being close to restaurants, supermarket, bars and swiming pool. We would absolutely recommend it.
We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The apartment is bright, modern and well-equipped and in a good location for the pool and facilities within the Bellaluz area of La Manga. A short walk/drive takes you to the main resort facilities of tennis, golf and restaurants. The Sky channels and access to wi-fi entertained our 2 teenagers and the apartment had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay including books and magazines together with useful local info and tourist guides.
The agents were very helpful and flexible on arrival and departure times as there was no-one in immediately before or after us which helped with flight times.
Would recommend this apartment and we are re-booking for another stay in 2011.
My family (wife, daughter and granddaughter (age 30 months)) and I have just spent a very enjoyable weeks vacation in this recently refurbished apartment. Access to the apartment from the pavement is via a small number of steps. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with every amenity that we required including washing machine & dishwasher. It was well equipped with crockery, cutlery, towels & bedlinen. The bathroom contained an excellent shower unit over the bath and we always had a good supply of running hot water. The TV in the lounge offered a wide choice of both British & European channels including the Sky Sports channels.
On arrival, we were met by the owners agent who was very helpful in informing us of the facilities and also
provided a brochure which listed info about the La Manga Club Resort including the various restaurants etc. Prior to our arrival we had been provided with the telephone numbers of the owners agents for use in contacting them about our arrival time (we phoned them as we were leaving the airport) and in case we needed them to resolve anything for us during the week.
We had previously visited La Manga two years ago and by chance stayed in the Bellaluz community although not in this same apartment. Because we knew its facilities, when we looked to book this time we searched for apartments in this same community. One of the reasons for this was the quality of the leisure area which contains not only a good sized swimming pool with a plentiful supply of sunbeds/loungers but also has a separate children's pool area in a nice shaded area together with a small play area containing swings, slide etc. There is a card access system in operation to this leisure area and these were provided by the owners agent. Sometimes the entrance gate is left open but it is always best to carry them with you. It is no more than a couple of minutes walk from the apartment.
Bellaluz also has a commercial area, again no more than a couple of minutes walk from the apartment, with a number of bars/restaurant, supermarket (stocks English newspapers) and other shops. This area appeared to be more popular with holidaymakers than it was on our last visit.
For those not considering hiring a car, the main commercial area is about 2kms away. Downhill getting there uphill coming back.

Ideal for sports people , particularly golf and tennis. Although I would class the facilities of the resort as on the dear side.
The apartment is clean & tidy, but lacking sufficient towels and other items such as dvds/magazines, books etc. It is conveniently placed on the resort, particularly with shops, bars and restaurants only a few yards away.
A car is essential not only to travel around the club but to venture to nearby villages and towns. I would recommend this property for golf/tennis players.
The apartment is located in the community of Bellaluz in the heart of La Manga Club. Shops, restaurants and the large community pool complex are just yards away. Tennis and golf within walking distance. Beaches and all watersport facilities are 10-15 minutes drive. The nearest airports are Murcia (25mins) and Alicante (65mins).
Golf: La Manga Club has three 18-hole courses. The South Course is championship standard. Long and technical (handicap certificate required). The recently renovated North course is more undulating but easier, with superb views. The West course is completely different in character; narrow fairways, frequent 'barrancas' (ravines) and quite technical. Most people love this course. You are advised to book tee times well in advance. In the past couple of years, many new courses have opened in the area. We recommend in particular Lo Romero, Hacienda del Alamo (Dave Thomas designed), and La Peraleja (Seve Ballesteros designed). Please contact us for further information and the best way of obtaining discounted tee times at these courses.

The apartment to be vacated no later than 10.00 am on day of departure. The apartment will be ready for occupation at 4 pm on day of arrival, except with prior agreement of the owners.
25% deposit at the time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks before your holiday
