My husband and I loved our stay at this Berkeley cottage! It is in a great location. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Property owner was extremely nice and helpful. We could tell a lot of thought and care had gone into decorating and designing the place. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.
We loved our stay in the cottage. Great location in Berkeley with plenty of street parking and quiet neighborhood. We were visiting for a wedding at Tilden Botanic Gardens and activities in Oakland/Marin County and this spot was perfectly close to everything. The cottage itself was beautiful and well kept. We had access to anything we might have needed. Hoping to one day return, maybe they will let our kids sleep in the cute loft area.
An affordable and convenient option for staying outside of San Francisco. The cottage is well equipped and located in a nice neighborhood with street parking (bonus). We loved our stay here and would definitely return. Just some info for those who like modern conveniences: there is no dishwasher and no dish sink. It was fairly easy to wash dishes using the bathroom sink, but somewhat awkward. And, there is no television. We did not mind this at all, but some people might. The quaint decor of the cottage, location, and convenience of the being near an interesting grocery store is a huge plus.
The cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Berkeley. It adjoins a magnificent home in a beautiful, historic neighborhood. Everything about the cottage is tasteful, delightful, and comfortable. Erinn was a perfect host. The cottage is one block away from a good grocery store and several blocks away from Peet's, wonderful bakeries, and good restaurants.
I agree with all the five star reviews. This cottage is truly a special place in a great and convenient neighborhood; and is exactly as advertised.. I hope to rent it again when I visit Berkeley.
My first impulse is to write a poor review so this lovely little cottage would be available for us next time! The place was cosy and perfect for my husband and I. It was close to our son and his family so we could see them but also walk back "home" for a break. The pictures don't do this cottage justice. It is decorated beautifully - but comfortably. No t.v. but you can always stream on one of your devices if you miss it. We hope to be able to rent again on our next visit.
