Loved the pool, spa, workout room and location. View from deck is great, as is the price.
There was no owner manual that I could find in the unit.
And there was damage to a bathroom door that I called the LL about because I didn't want to be held responsible. The property manager was responsive to requests, but he emailed incorrect instructions to operate the TV so an engineer had to make a 2 minute house call.
There is a big stain in the living room carpet. There are black marks on the walls and some poorly painted walls.
The furnishings are not luxury. Dining room table and chairs look cheap and flimsy. They need a new coffee maker. The sink clogged on checkout morning.
Nevertheless, we would stay here again because of the price, location and resort facilities.
We had an early flight into Miami so I called Jay and he said it was no problem to check in early at 11 am. The Conrad staff gave me a hard time about it until Jay called them and then I was allowed to check in. $100 was taken on card for incidentals. The property is nice. We Valet parked for entire stay and just tipped the guys. There are stickers in apartment folder for valet. You go to 25th floor and then take another elevator around the corner to get to the room. The place is very spacious and the views are incredible. My few complaints were that the carpet had some stains that looked like vomit. The washer and dryer is a all in one combo so
you have to know what you are doing. There is only one tv in the entire apartment. The bedrooms really need to have TVs. Some wall mirrors amor floor mirrors would be nice. It was 5 females in town for my cousins bachelorette so we really needed additional mirrors when getting ready. We called Jay to bring blankets for the couch and he agreed and did so a few hours later. There were lots of towels in the apartment like large towels, beach towels, and hand towels. More face towels were needed. There were no instructions for Wifi left and the hotel was always like you had to talk to the owner about that. For the price paid wifi should be included. Also we cooked breakfast while there and used the dishwasher which leaked and had the carpet soaking wet. Trash chutes are on every floor but in my opinion there should have been a booklet that provided answers to common questions. All in all it was a nice place and we had a great stay.
Great unit in nice hotel. Staff was very nice at the conrad and royal stays team was very helpful with recommondations and booking the place for us. Very professional. Great views from the balcony. Unit was very clean. Overall a great experience
We had an awesome stay at this unit. The views are gorgeous. Both the hotel staff and royal stays management team were super nice and helpful. We were told by the manaent team that we were one of the first guests to rent since the completely changed all the carpets in the apartment which was nice as I saw some not so great reviews about it before our arrival. Everything was very clean and we had no issues. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Conrad Hilton and have rented through VRBO in the past at this hotel. This unit however, did not meet our expectations nor did it compare to other rentals in this hotel. This is a bare bones rental at best. There is 1 TV in the main room (no bedroom TVs even though there are TV cabinets in each room) and that TV was not working. We phoned the management company who informed us that it was after hours and their repairman was gone for the night. They asked us to contact the hotel to fix it and the hotel informed us that for liability reasons, they're not permitted to enter owner units to do repairs. While I understand all of that, we never heard from the owner regarding the issue at all. In addition to the TV not working, it is lopsided on the stand and it had to be propped up with books for it to be straight. Other issues to be aware of... there's a washer in the unit, but no dryer, the dishwasher door is so damaged and bent that it's near impossible to close it to run it, the ice maker in the refrigerator door does not work, the cook-top has large pieces of the top cracked off of it, the sheets and bed topping are so threadbare that you can see the dirt/debris on the interior bed cover (we had to remove it, it was so gross). Know what you're getting if you rent this unit.
My husband, sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at this unit for 4 nights and were very disappointed. The hotel itself is dated but we were told by the management that the entire property is in the process of undergoing a complete modernization. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: This unit has beautiful city views and it is light and bright. The hotel is close to many restaurants and steps from the metro mover.
Cons: The unit itself is in terrible disrepair. The dishwasher in the kitchen is broken (the door fell off when I opened it), there is a large piece missing from the top of the stove and the one and only T.V. set didn't work. The bedroom door didn't close due to a broken latch and the outlet covers were cracked. To add insult to injury there was no toilet paper in the 2 bathrooms no paper towels in the kitchen and the Wi-fi throughout the unit was spotty. Overall maintenance of the unit was also poor from the chipped and scratched up walls to the cheap, uncomfortable beds and furniture.
We can't possibly recommend this property to anyone until some upgrades have taken place.
