Best Cabin Ever
This is our second year at Moss Creek Cabin. The Cabin is a gem and we rented for a month. Clean and modern. Todd and Lori are always available if you need anything. You are very close to down town Hendersonville - some great new restaurants, close to Asheville. The cabin is in peaceful apple country. Loved our stay and so will any one who rents this cabin. The area has so many things to do.. Art galleries , Biltmore Estate, Lake Lure< Shopping or have a peaceful night at home around the fire pit. We recommend this cabin. Jim and Susie
Great property! Everything you need. Definitely going back this year!
My girlfriend and I visited this property over the weekend and can't say enough great things about this spot. We arrived to a phone call from the property owner welcoming us and ensuring we could contact him for anything. As we drove up, the house looked idyllic and tranquil. The house was in amazing condition for guest with everything neatly placed. The home is spacious yet cozy. We loved the log features mixed with white, more modern walls. The hot tub and firepit were amazing additions to the house. While it was just the two of us, this space would be great for up to 4-5 people. The loft area was cozy for afternoon naps while the downstairs living area was great for reading. We loved that the owners included games in the loft as well as we could properly disconnect from our phones/technology. The master bed was marvelous and well-supported. The master bathroom was lovely with a shower and tub. Double sinks are always winners. There was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoors and relax. We certainly enjoyed our stay here and plan to revisit this property later this year. If you are considering visiting the Asheville/Hendersonville area, look no further than this property. You won't regret it and it is worth every single penny. Thanks!!!
The most beautifully scenic cabin!
I could not have been more impressed with my first VRBO experience. The cabin was everything that I had hoped for and everyone that was staying was beyond impressed. The location is perfect because it is a nice secluded cabin but a grocery store is only about 10 mins away and Asheville was only about a thirty minute drive for the nights we went out to dinner.
We made great use of the hot tub and cooking facilities. I will definitely be booking again next time we make a trip to the area! It was perfect!
Wow! Our stay was absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to stay here again. The cabin is picture perfect and beautifully appointed. This is the best stocked kitchen we've come across yet in our rentals and the views are breathtaking. From the kitchen windows, we had a view of the mountains and the most darling little church. This vacation was good for our spirits as we were truly unable to unplug and unwind whether playing games at the dining room table with beautiful views (we brought games of our own but were pleasantly surprised at the collection upstairs in the cabin), rocking on the front porch and listening to the birds, making use of the sizable hot tub or fire pit, or exploring in the woods (our kids particularly loved this!). Lori and Todd have done an incredible job of building a luxurious cabin that you really don't want to leave. And yet...there are so many fun things to do in the area as well. We greatly enjoyed Chimney Rock and Lake Lure one day (short drive from the cabin), Biltmore (about 25-30 minutes from the cabin but not a bad drive at all) is enchanting and was fun for all, and downtown Hendersonville was a cute place to stroll, shop, and eat. There were a number of other places we considered visiting but when it began gently snowing, we opted to stay in with hot cocoa and enjoy the views.
A few logistics - we were a party of six comprised of 4 adults and 2 kids. Our 2 kids opted to sleep on the sectional in the upper loft but could have used the sleeper sofa downstairs. The loft and each of the bedrooms have televisions. It worked out great for us. The washer and dryer are in the basement and are HUGE - super convenient - and the basement is walk out so it's not what most people think of in a basement. The dining table was perfectly sized for the 6 of us and there were 6 of each plates/bowls/etc. with even more silverware.
We wholeheartedly recommend the Moss's cabin and hope to be back very soon!
A Remote Gem
A lovely home that was nice and comfortable but best suited for 4 versus 5 people given only two bedrooms. Kitchen had all of the essentials. Fire pit and hot tub were a real plus. Lots of firewood but would have been nice if there was a roof or protection over the wood given it rained some.
Grill is functional but a real gas grill would have been a plus- particularly given it can be quite windy and a covered grill might work better . Definitely was as advertised- we really enjoyed it.
The property was more than we could have wished for! Perfect in every way.
We loved our stay at this cabin. A perfect getaway from our busy lives to relax in nature. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day of hiking and exploring Chimney Rock. Our boys (6 &8) loved playing in the yard and calm evenings by the fire. Special thanks to Todd and Lori for sharing this gem with us. They were very responsive from start to end. We will absolutely be back next year!
This property is close driving distance to some of the most beautiful places in the world. From breath taking mountain views Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls galore and the best hiking trails in Pisgah National and Dupont State Forest, Lake Lure (home of the 1986 movie Dirty Dancing) and Chimney Rock State Park to world famous Biltmore House and Winery, Flat Rock Playhouse the State Theatre of North Carolina, Historic Downtown Hendersonville with quaint shop, antiques, and fine Dining. There is so much to do it is impossible to do it all. Great for families or couples who want to unwind and relax to outdoor adventures unlimited (hiking, biking, zip lining, fly fishing tubing, rafting, and kayaking)
