The day we arrived at this cabin there was someone changing out a water heater. He was friendly and professional. He left and we all started to unpack. One of our family members washed his hands in the kitchen sink and immediately could smell the rotten eggs smell. That smell lingered on his hands for a while. As I went into our bathroom I instantly noticed the rust color stains in the toilet, on the shower walls, and in the jets/drain of the tub. People could not brush thier teeth in the water because the smell was so foul. We had to but water for cooking and washing things for the baby. All our clothes smelled like that as we washed them in the washer throughout the week. The small yard we did have was soaking wet and mushy...don't know if that had anything to do with the random sewer smells we could smell through out the week. Loved the area and the time spent with my family, but was very disappointed in this rental. Will not suggest this to anyone.
