Great stay, not good for couples!

  • 3 of 5

I think the cabin stay and location are awesome. I was just a bit disappointed at the way the bathrooms were set up. If you get one of the rooms upstairs you will not have a bathroom in your room. You actually have to go outside your bedroom to get to the bathroom that was small and had no tub and it only had a stand up shower. This was an adult vacation so there were no children present, it was just married couples. The cabin was nice, I just would not recommend it for more than four couples.

3.5-4 stars

  • 4 of 5

The views were amazing. The cabin was clean & most things worked. It is a bit of a drive up the mountain & worth the trip. The pool was good & the pavilion was roomy . We took over 1 night . Used the fireplace to roast hotdogs & make s'mores.some negatives, the pool table is in very poor condition. A lot of the tv remotes are missing. The large tv in the living room never worked( however we never called it in) we really didn't need it. The theater room worked fine. There is 1chair that was pretty wobble. The bears did visit the neighborhood a couple times. We had a full group of 14. 9 adults & 5 kids. Plenty of glassware & dishes. Some of dinner plates are to large for the dishwasher. If you plan on cooking pasta bring a large pot. 6 king beds , all were fine. As with most cabins plan on driving a lot. Minimum drive is 20 minutes. 3 decks all in good shape, plenty of seating on all levels , hot tub worked fine 104*. ? Would we use this cabin again. 70/30 yes if stay in this area. No if we want to do more on the Gatlinburg side.
