The location is perfect. It's secluded, high up in the mountains, very quiet and relaxing. It has everything you need....two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, televisions on all three levels and a hot tub. It has an air hockey game, pool table and foosball table. The only drawback was the wifi as it does not have it but if you are lucky you can piggyback off a weak signal from the cabin next door. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Gatlinburg.
Our cabin was ready on time. It was clean much cleaner than ones I have rented in the past. We had a great time the cabin was everything they said it was. Only down side was no WiFi ok for me UT not for the younger ones .
We loved how the cabin looked and how it was maintained. The Wyndham people were really helpful and when we learnt that our cabin did not have a grill, they immediately sent someone to set it up. Very well situated, wonderful views and we had a real fun time!
There was one main reason why I took out a star. It is natural to have tonnes of insects around the woods but in our previous experiences, we have seen cabins that have insect repellents (ultrasonic, or the torch-like ones). That would have made our lives much easier. The hot tub was placed right outside, on the deck and the insects made it impossible for us to use it. The Jacuzzi tub provided inside was a one-person tub. And, we had to stop using the grill half way through due to insects.
But apart from that, the experience was wonderful! I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family :-)
