Everything about this place was great! Thanks so much :)
Katie and Tom are awesome and the Hut is an absolutely amazing experience. The view is stunning! There was snow on the ground outside which made the view that much more amazing. We kept the fire going and we stayed nice and toasty warm inside the hut. Great experience if you are looking to disconnect and get away from it all.
We spent a night here during our two week honeymoon in NZ. Staying in hotels most of the time we thought it was a good opportunity to try something different. Our stay will be something we never forget. The walk was challenging (it's all part of the experience!) however the breathtaking views and serenity were the perfect reward. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it's a unique experience that is well worth doing.
The property is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our trip to the south island. The owners recently installed a heated bathtub tastefully set in the hills. The history involved in the hut is incredible. The place feels like one of those hidden gems you want to keep a secret but are so excited about that you can't.
A unique opportunity to stay in a historic hut n the middle of nowhere! stunning views from the hike and hut, though the walks not to be underestimated!!
This place is really something,if you want to get away from everything this is the place.Amazing view and you have the whole valley to yourself.Hut is warm and toasty thanks to open fire.Loads of history, features in Mark Pickerings new book Huts.
